I carry a stun gun. It's legal here. I've never used it and I hope I never have to, but it is nice to have in my hand whenever I'm alone just in case. It also has a flashlight which honestly gets way more use. This is the one I have in case anyone is interested. Really cheap, small enough to fit easily in my purse, and I've never had it run out of charge (only ever charged it like 2x in the year I've owned it).
Spot on. You can pump all the volts you want into something, but it's the amps that'll do some damage to you.
