Bruce didnt drink water really at all until we got this drinking fountain for him. 4 years, We felt so bad once we saw how much he was using it! Please note this was My Wife’s idea after Bruce was drinking from the bathtub faucet before our showers. Very easy to clean, and replacement filters are affordably priced. My cats like to option to drink from the spout or the bowl.
I have also tried both Catit Fountains (Flower and Metal), and would recommend the Flower out of those two options, but it is a pain to clean and the replacement filters are more expensive than the Pioneer fountain.
Thank you for your advice! She is normally on a mix of wet and dry Urinary S0 (and we always mix the wet food into more of a soup), but we can definitely give her more wet. I hadn’t thought of that.
I don’t have a pic of my sink at the moment, but the water fountains I have are the Pioneer swan fountain and the Catit flower fountain.
Some cats prefer running water, and that it’s fresh. They make Fountain water bowls to simulate running water.
