You're routine's great, but I would agree with \u\bluegoddess that it could potentially be the jojoba oil. I have really oily skin and have found that Meadowfoam Seed Oil made my face a lot less greasy during the day than jojoba oil.
I would also recommend a mask like Queen Helene Mint Julep or even Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. They're relatively inexpensive, but I've found that using them twice a week has, personally, decreased the oil on my face. Especially during the hot summers in Arizona.
Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask Is my absolute fave.
It's not super harsh if not left on too long. It smells delightful and it's inexpensive!
I know people also really like the Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack as a gentle clay mask. I just haven't used it myself.
Here you go. Also you can try your local Dollar General to see if they carry it.
I would swap the charcoal mask for the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque everyone raves about here. I have great results from it as well.

Seriously, I think mint is the holy fabu-rific (fabulous + terrific) grail for oily skinned peeps. I've been using a mint julep masque and it has totally changed my face life. Face's life. Life of my face.
Just buy it, it's rad (and I'll try the Mint Lemon next!).
Empties:
Purchases
TL;DR: I'm sorry this is so long. I buy and try a lot of things.
When I ran out of Cerave a few weeks ago, I bought some Derma E at Kroger on a whim. It's actually been amazing for my skin, it's so thick and moisturizing. The tub I bought was $10, think it was in sale.
I tend to go for Tom's for deodorant and toothpaste, they're only slightly more expensive than what I used to buy.
I buy this crazy good coconut conditioner, I just can't remember the brand.. Will update with it later, promise. Oh, and Queen Helene mint julep mask!
Edit: Here's the coconut conditioner I love, and this is what I bought last time because there wasn't any of the coconut one on the shelf.
Is that this one for... $2.50?? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0014272VI/
OP, you can also try Queen Helene's Mint Julep mask for $5.50 on Amazon or about $3.50 at your local drugstore/dollar store. The first three ingredients are distilled water, kaolin, and bentonite. You get the fun of a clay mask, you don't have to mix it yourself like the Aztec clay mask, and you save $64.
My holy grail, queen helene mint julep: https://www.amazon.com/QUEEN-HELENE-Masque-Mint-Julep/dp/B0014272VI/ref=sr_1_2_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1494891723&sr=1-2&keywords=queen+helene+mask
I'd recommend starting slow. Start with a mild foaming cleanser, a basic moisturizer, and a sunscreen. If you want to add more stuff on for your acne, check out /r/SkincareAddiction and /r/AsianBeauty. Their sidebars are seriously amazing.
But for a cleanser, you can't go wrong with CeraVe foaming cleanser. It's cheap, easily available, and gentle for any kind of skin. There's a bunch of theories on which kinds are best, but I've seen all sorts recommend this cleanser.
Moisturizer is really key as well. Dry skin can cause acne just because your skin is craving moisture! CeraVe and Aquaphor as well as natural stuff like Jojoba oil or Coconut oil have been talked about a lot as good options here. I'm still in search for a really good one I gel with. I do use as a light moisturizer Mizon's Snail Recovery Gel as it also clears up small cuts and inflammation as well. Be patient with this step, as some moisturizers can break you out.
Sunscreen is honestly like 100% of skincare, I'm convinced now, after plunging head first into the two mentioned subs. I use This Japanese one cuz it's cheap on Amazon and has one of the highest pH ratings out there. This Korean one is also highly praised online.
But the fun part I really like? MASKS! OMG MASKING! I love wash offs like Origins' Charcoal Mask (great for acne!) and Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask are both awesome choices! I'm also a big fan of sheet masks (they put the good-for-you goop on a piece of fabric so it's easy to apply). These are the ones I usually buy because it's a great value and they work amazing. You usually only mask for 15-20 minutes and it's like a mini me-time spa-time for me. Doing this like twice a week has done wonders for my skin!
Have some fun with your skincare journey! I'm having fun with finding my perfect self pampering routine. It's more a form of self care for me now, so I feel a little sad if I miss any steps at this point. Hope that helps some! :)
Hey, uh, while you're here...how often do we apply these grit vacuuming masks?^^I ^^couldn't ^^find ^^anything ^^in ^^the ^^wiki ^^and ^^figured ^^it'd ^^be ^^faster ^^than ^^waiting ^^till ^^wednesday ^^for ^^stupid ^^questions ^^thread
If they've been that way a long time, you may be out of luck, but yoi could try pore minimizer on those pores. Whenever I needed it, I always just used Witch hazel (spend a little more to get alcohol free if you're going to use it often or have dry skin). It's next to the rubbing alcohol and you just dab it on with a cotton ball. There are also actual products specifically labeled "pore minimizer" or "pore tightener". Clay masks can also help. I use some green peppermint one. Can't remember the name, I think it starts with a J, it's at Walmart.
Edit : Queen Helen Mint Julep Clay Mask that's what I have, knew there was a J in there somewhere :)
I use a vitamin c moisturiser mornings and nights, i also use a face mask 3x a week.
this is the moisturiser
Face mask i use
I buy mine off Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014272VI/
This mask has bergamot and orange oils in it which I would not recommend putting on your face since these oils are photo toxic and can be irritating. Most mask users here use the Aztec Healing Clay mixed with Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. I think Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask is still a perennial favorite as well.

New Purchase - Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque. Amazon
Did a bang up job on my face after the first use. I can tell the difference with a lot of my current blemishes and those what could have sprung up. My PIH also reduced! I'm a Black lady and my skin was always prone to scar, bruise and leave a mark after many outbreaks over the years, leaving a LOT of damage to the left side of my face and along my jaw line on the right side. After two uses I noticed that the mark are lightening up, my current blemishes don't survive long, and reduces a lot of the redness and inflammation of the most bothersome pimples on my face. It does a fabulous job leaving my skin nice and soft and after a good moisturizing with a few drops of coconut oil, feels oh so soft.
I like a lighter moisturizer in the morning and I'll use Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner after I splash my face with water.
You might want to pick up Aztec Healing Clay. Maybe stop by Sally's Beauty Supply for Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque.
I've got dehydrated oily skin prone to acne, FYI.
They have them on amazon.ca! :)
It's a great mask.
I use Shiseido's Perfect Whip foaming cleanser (it's like slapping marshmallow whip on your face, the foam is so thick) and I use Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask.
I’ve been reading through this thread with interest!
I have combo skin, with an oily forehead and nose, but dry skin everywhere else (including around my nostrils). I have a bit of redness especially around my nose and chin. I also have weird dry patches on both sides of my chin that, if I slack off on skincare, sometimes have reddish bumps (they don’t appear to be pimples, just inflamed slightly raised areas).
My routine is -
AM:
-Biore Aqua Rich Water Essence Sunscreen
PM:
My goals are to even out my redness, eliminate flaking and dryness around my nose and chin, and slow down my t-zone oil production. After reading this thread I’m planning on trying niacinamide, azelaic acid, and jojoba oil.
Hope people see this, I need help...

Any suggestions on how/when?
Maybe it's just because I grew up on it, but I'll always have a soft spot for Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque.

It's cheap, you can get it pretty much anywhere, and it genuinely makes my skin feel really nice and tight.
I also just tried one of these as a sample from Sephora and WOW my face was sooooooo soft and smooth after I took it off.

You can get much better for much less. Like these:

Also witch hazel(alcohol free might be best for you op) has helped me with some acne and oily skin. I apply it at night and in the morning with a piece of toilet paper, or cotton round. Dries almost right away. Also Mint Julep Mask, use it once a week. Has helped me with acne in the past as well. Reduces redness and whatnot as well
you can get it from amazon.co.uk otherwise, shipping might be more than the price of the mask, but if you combine it with something else, it shouldn't be too bad.

Just get it on Amazon. Shipping would be cheaper than driving around trying to find it.
This because this is my favorite face mask. It's the best. Plus, my parents avoid me when I have it on since I look creepy. Double win.
