Amazon carries it.

Edit: No referral, no money, nothing. I need to figure this referral thing out.

Get one of these. Problem solved!

I've used a Dremel (more traditional configuration) to polish a lamp before.

Do you have a mechanical toothbrush? Ever let it run away from your mouth for a second? Sprays EVERYTHING in the room, your mirror, your sink, your face, EVERYTHING. Same thing for a Dremel, or any polisher like this. Anything coming off the surface, any cleaner you use, is going to plaster the environment.

Now, if you're prepared for this and out of other options, they're really handy. And this seems like a neat configuration of a Dremel tool, albeit TOO specialized in my opinion. Get a normal one or just, you know, get this thing.

If you'd like to speed up the scrubbing process dramatically, you can check this DIY solution, using a drill.

There is also a pre-maid version on Amazon - called the Revolver.

If you're making it yourself, just don't make it with too abrasive bristles. I like to test it in an unnoticed corner, first. You also might want safety goggles - if the scum is thick, it'll be flying. Also, pay attention to not thread the bolt too far - it'd scrape your surround.

You could buy drill attachments like this and this, or you could make your own.

I took a picture to upload, but I took down my computer for upgrades and maintenance and forgot. Here's one you can buy.

Edit: Here's the brush I made mine from, using a 3" or so nut-n-bolt through the center hole.

They sell these on amazon (the screwdriver head with a brush) I imagine OP didn't actually make this.

Anyone know of a horsehair/boar bristle drill attachment?

I enjoy brushing, don't get me wrong. It's therapeutic. But sometimes when I have a bigger brushing job, I wish I had a brush that would attach to my drill/driver at home. Does this exist? The closest thing I've seen is this or this.

I don't want to buy one of those fancier electric polishers when I already have a perfectly functioning tool that can spin quickly and with some torque whatever is attached to it.

Nice work!

For future reference, easier than a toothbrush, is using a drill brush like this one.
