It's a lot easier to not have to look back once you go to PC so there's that. Also if it helps you try picking up a rock candy controller as they're very satisfying to use, and require no installation or setup whatsoever. I went and tried out my ps3 copy of BL2 after months and months of PC BL2, and honestly it just hurt my eyes.
Instead of a Xbox controller, try the Rock Candy controller.
We've had ours for almost a year, and it's still working great. The one I linked is a bit pricey, we bought ours for $20 and we've seen it anywhere from $15 to $20 within the past month at Walmart.
