The Extreme is better in every way. Faster read/write and optimized for shooting in 4K. It's only $6 more. Just be sure to get the one that is rated U3/A1/V30.

If you do opt for the Ultra, just be sure that it is the one that is rated A1, so it is optimized for use with smartphone apps.

The reason is more complex because of:

-Nowadays SD-card performance is not that great. Even if you got a
SanDisk Extreme 32GB microSDHC UHS-I Card
Internal storage is much faster. (Taking about the high-end smartphones.

Because you can only write or read once at a time and not simultaneously. This is were Universal Flash Storage is better.
And SD-Card storage is used for media like: videos and photos and not apps. (That's the mistake many people make.)

I can't go in full detail right now, but I think this might help also:

SanDisk Extreme 32GB microSDHC UHS-3 Card - SDSQXAF-032G-GN6MA [Newest Version] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWMQ81P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qbr4AbH28YV95

Just bought a half dozen last week. They work great 👍

The SDSQXAF-032G-GN6MA and SDSQXAF-064G-GN6MA are the same card in different capacities. Amazon lists the card by the 64GB SKU, but you can select the 32GB in the listing, which is the one GoPro has on its approved list for Hero7 Black. Either should be just fine.

Hello friends,

I'm getting my first new 2DS XL and was hoping for some recommendations on SD cards. I was looking at the following:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XWN9Q99/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073JWXGNT/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was looking at these two things, although the official Nintendo site recommends the Sandisk Extreme which is:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDHC-UHS-I-SDSQXAF-032G-GN6MA/dp/B06XWMQ81P/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1509988553&sr=8-3&keywords=32+gb+sandisk+extreme+micro+sd+card

but it's slightly more expensive than the original Sandisk one I posted so if the original one works, I would rather go with that.

But those were my ideas. Maybe if someone has a better recommendation or can confirm these are the best ways to go? Also, I notice that people are using even bigger cards as long as they're formatted properly, is there a recommendation for those and how hard would it be to reformat it properly? It sounds way more convenient than having multiple 32gb cards to swap!

Thanks again!

Keep in mind that many cameras can only handle a a max of 32 gb class 10 micro SD card. I'd recommend getting this SanDisk Extreme 32 gb. Even if you're worried about longetivity, getting a few replacements will still be cheaper than a $40 SD card.

You can't beat that price and the longevity on these is great. I've had several over the last 2 years and one that's in my GoPro since 2012!

It was around 130 value per sec.

Storage is the main bottleneck, you need a fast SD card.

I m using SanDisk Extreme 32GB:

If you were looking to spend a little more then the YI Action Camera works pretty good. I personally use it on the trails and it works well.

Along with the camera I would get the Proshot Helmet Mount System if it works with your helmet. I also use this on the trails and it hasn't moved at all since I put it on due to the heavy-duty velcro they use (I've also crashed a couple times while it was on and it hasn't budged). The chin mount also has no wind resistance, so when going fast speeds your head wouldn't get pulled to a side and branches wouldn't knock it off your helmet.

A Sandisk Extreme MicroSD is what I use and it is fast enough to do 1080p 60fps.

Overall this would cost you ~$140 for all three items. The camera also comes with a free battery offer on amazon so you would have two batteries to get you through a couple riding sessions. (Each battery lasts a little more than an hour)

Here is some footage at 1080p 60fps
