Most of the complaints for that car are for the auto-stop/start engine and with the 9 speed transmission. Also the infotainment is pretty outdated as you've seen...
Aside from that you are getting an excellent V6, best AWD system, high reliability, quiet and smooth ride, and great looks. Not to mention Acurawatch on the advance.
If you could get it for $22k I would say go for it. There are not many cars with more pros than the TLX!

Magnetic mount that just clips onto one of your vents. They also make dash and window mount options.
I've been using this one for about a year in my BMW. I really like it. I'll be using it in my XV when it gets here. The only down side is that if you use inductive charging, you have to take the case off to charge becasue of the metal plate. I don't, so no big deal

I'm running an eTune from Eric at Torqued Performance, absolutely great experience and highly recommend him. The AP is mounted with a Schosce vent mount.
I could be wrong, but the pattern looks like a Scosche brand of magnet mount. I bought mine from Walmart but I think this is the same one on Amazon
I've used the same plate on two different phone cases with the original adhesive, still works great!

I use a vent clip Schoshe Magic Mount and have it on the vent closest to the drivers right hand. It's very convenient not having to deal with the arms most mounts have. Just stick it up there and grab it when you need.
