Wow, that was lengthy, thanks for the review! I noticed the Nano oil looks exactly like the TUF-Glide I use, I wonder if it's just rebranded. I'm able to tighten down the pivots on my AB as tight as I can with the TUF Glide, and it still swings freely. I might try out froglube though, I like that you don't need to apply it for a long time after the first initial time.
You can also use dental floss with metal polish to get between the scales and the blade. This might cause the pivot to loosen up a bit so you might have to use a ball peen hammer and a hard surface to give the pin a few love taps on both sides to tighten it back up.
Personally I use a Tuf-Glide pen applicator to treat my straight razors. Just a touch of oil, not even a whole drop, on both sides then work the razor all the way open and closed a few times. Other oil like mineral oil would probably work just as well, hopefully this doesn't happen again!
This is the oil I use:

When shopping for the Nano-Oil, I saw some Tuf-Glide come up. I would have bought it with the oil, but I wasn't sure if it might affect my Titanium handles if it got on them (they're all anodized and pretty). And what is the purpose of the cloth compared to the pure oil?
Wait, LUBRICATING the lock face will cause lock stick? How does that work? Now that I think about it, what is "lock stick"; is it when the frame or linear lock doesn't want to slide out to unlock the blade?
Popular brands are Nano Oil 10wt,Militec-1,Benchmade Blue lube,Hoppe's No. 9,KPL Knife Pivot Lube,3-in-1 oil,and Tuff Glide dry lubricantjust to name a few in no particular order. I personally like Nano-oil the best but have been hearing really good things about KPL.
