Yeah it’s a new color scheme for sure. They recently stopped doing the 4 pack boxes and that’s one major reason I purchased them. Some regular copper tops come in the 4 pack and I’ve seen some research that say they last a little longer than procell but the cost per battery is cheaper. If like me you hate the 4 pack disappearing you could try one of these from amazon. It’s a reusable battery holder.
The proprietary 1000mAh pack never even got charged, why bother IMO?
I use eneloop batteries & charge them in an external charger, when need be.
Virtually uninterrupted gaming with 2 2000mAh cells under the hood & plenty more on hand for when they need swapped out.
Picked up a couple of battery holders to keep them tidy & in sets of 4 for charging purposes, as well.

They work great for 14500 batteries. I'm, uh, sure they'd work well for AA's for the MFLB too.

EDIT: protip - they also will fit 3ml juice bottles. If you have a mod that uses 14500 batteries, you definitely should have one of these battery holders.
