Not sure if it's the best price around but here's some stuff I've found:
Hoppes #9
SWFA scope, full price though
100 round ammo boxes
shooting steel
tripod target
Harris Bipod
bore snakes
and knives of course
SWFA fixed 10x.
If you get the chance to look through the glass between the SWFA and PA, you'll quickly understand where PA took shortcuts to add the rest of their features.
I've never tried a BSA, but I've seen them on the shelves at Walmart.
I'm not trying to be a snob about glass, but the scope is the most critical interface between you ,the rifle, and your target. "Buy once cry once" applies heavily here.
Edit: The importance of reliable tracking.
The PA turrets have big, loud, tactile clicks, which feel cool but it's really an indication of the backlash in the erector assembly gears. It costs money to have features like FFP magnification and side parallax speced into a scope. It also takes physical space within the scope to add those features to the erector assembly.
None of those features matter if your internals aren't precise or robust enough to track accurately to utilize those features. It's like putting racing stripes and a boost gauge on a Saturn station wagon.
I've not seen a cutaway of the PA, but I have seen a cutaway of the SWFA fixed. The SWFA spec put all of it's pricing into the erector guts to track accurately, and their warranty is on Par with Vortex to back it up.
For illustration here is a cutaway of a weaver variable power scope.
Here is a video exposing the erector assembly of a FFP scope.
Being that just cutting barrel threads to a class 3 fit costs $150, it's highly unlikely from a manufacturing standpoint that you could have an accurate FFP variable magnification scope for under $300 without some severe compromises.
IMO, keep an eye on this for when it's back in stock. Then stick this on top.
Just be careful which one you buy. This looks correct and has good ratings (did not see anything about wrong model)

Make the reticle and turrets match.
