It can be used to tie fairly small areas although once again it should not be rolled into a rope, think more like how bandage rolls are put on. You can use this to bind wrists together, or ankles to bedposts. It sticks to itself but does not stick to skin, hair, or clothing. It is light weight, moisture resistant, and reusable. It can be used over sensitive areas like the face (ever considered binding someone’s writs to the back of their head, with this you can!) comes in different colors, and is fairly cheap. It is made of latex, so make sure everyone is good with that. It can be found for 3-4 dollars a roll, stay away from sterile rolls as they will cost considerably more (like $20 a roll as opposed to $ 4), are only sterile until taken out of the package, and offers no advantage in bondage play. Overall it is a good tool to have in any bondage kit.

Bondage Tape, also called Amazing Tape or self-cling tape, is something in between vet wrap and saran wrap. It is a non-adhesive tape made out of a plastic material much more durable than the cellophane that saran wrap is made of. You can buy it in 1 inch wide (by like 50 foot long) rolls and use it to tie someone up like you would with vet wrap, also don't roll it into rope. Unlike saran wrap it is reusable. It is preferred to vet wrap mainly because it is less stretchy meaning you can make more secure bondage, and it feels more like bondage and less like medical play.

Overall you don't want anything to become thin and ropelike. The wider the area it covers the less pressure on any given point, which prevents circulation loss and nerve damage. When using rope the types of ties to do that are not hard to learn. You can't use knots that are going to collapse or slide and allow the rope to tighten when pressure is put on the line. Saran wrap, Bondage tape, and vet wrap simply do not have properties conductive to tying knots that will not slip and tighten so don't try it.

Are you starting at 370? I like to do two sessions at 340, then raise it by about 5 for each session. Stopping at around 385. I get niiiiice and faded. Get great flavor at those lower temps.
