It looks like this one. Not sure where you'd get it for $3; the cheapest on google is $10.
Jeez, just get this for $10, shipped. I like mine so much I bought a second. One at home, one at work.

I dig OP's handle though.
> Nobody will think you're weird for having a beer on the beach, but they may arrest you.
Which is why you always: a) drink beer from cans, not bottles; and b) always put the can in a koozie.
I've had Myrtle Beach cops look dead at me while drinking a PBR in a koozie on the beach... and I think they appreciate me giving them the option of looking the other way.
Also, you shouldn't drink beer outta bottles on the beach anyway, ('cos glass), and a nice koozie will keep your beer colder in the sun much longer than one without.

This will keep a beer cold for 3 hours. It's glorious.
I had the same problem when I picked up my car this August. Another Redditor suggested I order this. I've had it for a few months and it works great on cans. Depending on what you drink you may want a larger holder as this is only really good for cans.

Keeps my soda colder significantly longer.
I'll agree with you on the light part, but a glass bottle most definitely keeps beer colder. Aluminum has a slightly higher specific heat, but the significantly higher mass of the glass bottle outweighs that.
I love me some cans though, get one of these Thermos beer coozies and it'll keep a can ice cold longer than it can stay carbonated. Life changing.
Living in Costa Rica, I've found these invaluable.
Ask and you shall receive.
I use vacuum insulated cups/can holders.
The rubber on this isn't glued on and just pops off so I use it as a cup. Shit stays cold for forever.
I buy six or eight 12 packs of Seltzer at a time. I drink at least a 12-pack per day
I decided I would throw a couple of empty 12 packs in upside down on the bottom floor of the two story Critter Nation cage. I don't know why I chose upside down, but that's the way they ended up liking it. This was about three weeks ago.
Now, they prefer the empty boxes to all the expensive habitats that I bought for them. Go figure. They often sleep in the boxes. When they pee in them, and the cardboard gets soggy, I just throw it out and put a new fresh empty box in. Low maintenance.
And get this. I only drink two flavors Black Cherry and yes, Pomegranate. Polar is the only brand that I buy.
Cue Twilight Zone music.
Tip; If you'll like Seltzer, you'll love this. It keeps your Seltzer cold for an hour and keeps it from going flat too! It's saved me so much money since I bought it, that I bought a second one.
It fits in all of my cup holders in my car too. 100 times better than those bulky foam coozies.
I got one I use for work, and one I keep in the house.
