I have the Turtle Beach Ear Force PX22 Amplified Universal Gaming Headset (www.amazon.com/Turtle-Amplified-Universal-Headset-Playstation-3/dp/B00E5UHSYW) . It was on sale for $54.99 few months ago. I recommend getting a wired handset because you don't have to deal with battery life.

I got Turtle Beach headphones for about $50 that worked on old gen console and do everything I need them to do! I've used them for 12 hour Warcraft sessions and while watching TsV in bed and they're comfortable the whole time. I bet newer models are compatible with PS4.

I use the turtle beach PX22 on PC. It works great with discord. It has a bass and treble along with a game volume and chat volume. If you set it right in windows it works great. Also to me has good sound quality. It is also in your 80 dollar budget. I had one that got broken went and bought another. I am not sure if turtle beach is hated or not but I think they work fine and that's all that matters to me.

I used to use this one, but once I started recording my gameplays I had to upgrade/downgrade to this one.

I like the Turtle Beach PX22. It's universal and comes with an amp extension. It can use a regular audio jack or usd depending on what you need. It's obviously not the best on the market but it's price to quality ratio is very good in my opinion.

How much are you looking to spend? Really anything will be a nice upgrade from standalone speakers. I'm using a cheap Turtle Beach PX22 headset for the PC. 3 years old still works no problem. I'm able to pinpoint locations easily, even if they are above or below me! A massive advantage.
I'm sure someone will hop on and bash Turtle Beach and that's fine, I have had crappy sets from them as well. However... I have Nothing but good things to say about the PX22. :) I hope this helps!

I'm going to get either the AD900x, HD598, or the Q701 for gaming and music (Leaning towards the Q701s). With whatever i choose i will also probably be getting the Fiio E10K. Now the main part i'm asking about is that i'm coming from a Turtle Beach PX22 headset. The inline amplifier on this i LOVE. As you can see in these pictures, the amplifier features bass and treble adjustment, game volume and chat volume are separate and independently adjustable, I can hear my own voice as i speak, and i can play music into the auxiliary port in it. So i'm wondering if it would be wise to setup all this in a way to integrate both this amp and the E10K. My current idea is to plug the E10K into the computer, then the PX22 amp into the E10K and obviously the headphones into the PX22 amp. So will this setup work? if not, is there any amp that offers a lot of the features the PX22 amp does? Thank you

I use the Turtle Beach PX22. Super comfortable when wearing for a long time, great sound, great mic quality, and works with my PS3 as well. Also, pretty damn cheap as far as Turtle Beach goes.

I have a pair of turtle beach headphones that I use. It comes with the usb to audio line port adapter. From there you plug in the actual headset. Another option would be to plug in an aux cable to the adapter which could then send sound to speakers or even the microphone port of your computer. (I use this method whenever I play through my computer speakers)

I have the Turtle Beach PX22. Work's with pretty much everything. You do need the stereo headset adapter for xbox one to use chat though. Good quality headset for the price.
