When I was searching for my first proper gaming headset (not just a default Microsoft mic lol), I settled on Refurbished XO Sevens. Price went from 160 to 100 dollars cuz the refurbish, but then a couple weeks later Black Friday showed up for $100. Should've gotten them haha!

My wife just bought me a turtle beach headset. I wasn't for the headset idea at first, but the noise cancellation is very nice.
The pair she got me were 150, but were on sale at BestBuy. They are on Amazon for 109 right now. I highly recommend them.

Could be a specific store thing because the website still shows full price. That said, Amazon has it for $96. Anyone have a thought on this or the Halo Skullcandy headset? I'm between those two
I was looking at the Titanfall TB headsets here and they look like they cover all bases for a good price. Only problem is that I've read so much about how surround sound is the main feature of a good headset and these don't mention it at all.
I've been using this since it came out. Easy to unplug from your PC and into your controller and vice versa. I know some people have had bad experiences with TurtleBeach but I've been using their headsets for almost 10 years never had any major problems. Its wired, which I personally prefer, but I know some people like Wireless.
