All these solutions are overkill just use something like an outdoor photosensor plug and use that to power what /u/bal00 mentioned.
that's tricky... you could easily do it with two lights.
one using something like this on a plug in porch light,

I have a Woods dusk to dawn timer with some decent options on it as far as how long it stays on. Been outside in 100 degree heat lately and no issues.

GE makes a decent Zwave one that is just a simple switch but you can make it smart with your favorite hub of course. I don't have one but a friend who does says it's excellent.
