I am having the time of my life on a current vacation with my family and I haven't been on a full family vaycay for a long time so it's very nice and very special!

This is supposed to work

For some people, steering wheel controls work only when using Apple Music app but for some people they can even control Spotify, etc with the steering wheel controls. I emailed them and the 'owner' and I exchanged emails about this. She even said

>The truth of the matter is that for some customers the music info and steering wheel buttons do work with streaming sites and for some they do not.  It is difficult to know if this relates to the operating system being used by the customer or the cable that was installed in their particular vehicle.  From our perspective we try to under promise and over deliver if possible and consequently we cannot say for sure that this info and function will work for you.  It may very well not.

You also need this. They used to recommend a similar item made by CableJive and it was $20-30 in the past but went up to $60+ when I looked recently. They saw that too and looked at substitutes and she suggested this one.

For almost $100, I passed at the time but I might try it. They offer a 30-day return if I don't like it....

I don't use an armband, I use a waist band. I prefer it. I run the headphones cord up through my shirt. I found it helped me keep my posture better when running.

I tended to get weird internal shoulder pain, from bad running posture and breathing, and that helped, and I could access quickly to push skip if I just didn't want to listen to that song.

I use the tune waist belt

They do arms as well I think.
It's really comfy though, nice and soft and easy to adjust whilst moving.

Ear phones I use over-ear buds. Samsung.
They can slip a lil bit whilst running, but overear will sit in the ear easier than just the straight ones I've found. and it's a quick finger movement to push them back in if you feel the sound is getting too soft.

Buy a frame to get around the protrusion.

And you can remove the protrusion from the gen5 frame. But I wasn't sure if I might wanna use the gen5 frame and shell for another project. So I had another iPod that wasn't functional I got from a friend cheaply. And I used the frame from that iPod and built this around it.

Personally shipping speed was a big factor in my choices in parts. I didn't mind spending a little more so much as I didn't have to wait for parts from China. You can get this all cheaper elsewhere. I know the case is only a couple bucks from China.

However on the other hand. I paid for priority shipping from idemigods on the 6th. And the guy didn't send till the 13th. So. Don't recommend the site if you want it quickly these were just exactly the parts I purchased.

I also heard the 3k batteries are sometimes not so safe. So. Use at your own risk.

Pax has a simple sleeve case for $20 (on Amazon). It fits both models but probably better for the Pax 2 since it would leave a bit more space.

I got the Belkin one for my iPod touch. Probably the best one I've had in terms of material/quality. I personally don't think it prevents the muscles from performing...just don't have it on so tight that you don't get bloodflow through your biceps. These armbands are elastic, so it shouldn't restrict you too much.

Just wash it out with water and soap once it starts getting smelly.

This is almost exactly the same one that I have, but I got mine a while back

I use an old leather sleeve for my old iPod Touch (like this one). I can easily fit a few cards, receipts, and a little cash in there and it stays flat no matter what. Also, it has a tab that you can pull to slide the cards up and out of the sleeve. It's lasted me a few years.

I also have the SGII
I have this one:
armband

The bigger your arms the more uncomfortable this one can be, as the band tends to twist and slide up your bicep.

With that said, I would recommend one with a neoprene band
like this

I also have these, and love the hell out of them. I can't stand the wire on regular headphones as I tend to rip them out of my hears/phone constantly. They have held up to over a years worth of wear to the gym.

Above average sounding b.t. headphones

I wasn't drinking, I was just up late and making wishful hopes.

As for why I was up to it: I like fixing things. From my old torn clothes to my car, from my computers to things around the house. I'm just a DIY guy I guess. I watched a bunch of videos on youtube and followed instructions, so I was baffled when I wouldn't work right. Guess I'm not as good as I thought.

Also, this is very saddening news for me. What I'm hearing you say is I'm pretty much stuck breaking this new screen and getting a new one and trying again. Here's where I got the screen.

Has anyone ever used the ThermoWorks pH meters? I have one of the cheap Amazon ones, but it never seemed to work right (measured mash pH as ~3, water as ~9, etc).

u/jamssey · 1 pointr/Crainn

Here but they don't seem to be available right now.

This would be an alternative - but it's more expensive.
