I own one of those "controller grip" accessories for my 3DS to use with games that don't use the CPP for this reason. I have to assume they'll come out with ones for the new one too, and I'd highly recommend one.

I've purchased both of these products, and my favorite would have to be the 2nd link. However, I have a white version of it that i found on Ebay. The biggest flaw with it would be that you have no access to the Stylus. The first case however is a nice holding case also and you'll have access to everything, but i was just never a big fan of Silicon materials.
