I haven't done concentrates in my vapcap (some dry kief I did) because I don't want it getting all sticky - I have good vape pens for that. Unless you have a defective cap, it all boils down to your heating technique and packing it right for proper airflow (not all tight and compressed). Heating low, near where the cap ends and you see the stem, will get you the hotter, bigger hits. How and what you use to heat it plays a difference too. I've tried many, and have settled on a simple single torch flame that has done me well for months now. Mine is just like this, don't remember where I got it, but just the one has lasted me months and I still use it!
