I’ve seen something like this faux fur shawl used by a lot of brides, and then the brown ones used by the wedding party. There are multiple different styles and colors, as well as lengths. If it doesn’t cover up much of your dress, it might be an option, or something you could wear between pictures and still look pretty while staying warm.
