These I got for when I'm jamming with the band and it lowers down the music since I'm already having issues hearing. I need to keep the hearing that I have.

I brought these earplugs for the Citifield concert back in October and will be bringing these with me when I go to Chicago next week. These ones are for smaller ears (because my ears are tiny) but they have a option for normal/bigger ears as well.
When I first put them on for the Citifield concert, I could barely hear the screaming but I could hear the music clearly. Best $35 well spent.

I like Eargasm earplugs. They block out high noise levels (like blaring speakers) but you can hear a person talking to you with perfect clarity. They even come with a small mental keyring carry case that's easy to strap into my bag.
Honestly, you've gotten a lot of answers. Several of the popular higher quality earplugs were mentioned and are mentioned by others and in the threads I linked.
As I said - many of them have different sizes to choose from. You can read the reviews on them on Amazon and search for "smaller ears" such as these.
You've also gotten more than one answer suggesting custom ones, which is truly the best way to get earplugs that work for you.

The non-foam plugs, like NoNoise or Eargasm, block the low frequency wind and engine noise while letting through the higher frequency environmental noises.
I've got a set of eargasm ear plugs and I like them way better than any others I've tried for exactly this reason.
Buy some high quality plugs. Worked at / been to thousands of shows with very loud bands. These are probably the only thing stopping me from going deaf.
