The Pikachu HORI Battle pad comes out in America on March 2nd. You can currently pre-order it on Amazon for $28. It is probably expensive because it has not come out yet. For future reference, this question would be more suited for the weekly question thread stickied above.
These were the ones I was referring to:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00QXJF5YI/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_cI8Vub026JX0G
Which are ALSO officially licensed NINTENDO products.
There's also some addional options you can choose the wii classic pro and classic contollers connect to the wii remote like a nunchuck and are much cheaper. I've found them at pawn shops for around 5 bucks.
There is also the Hori Battlepad which looks like a gamecube controller but plugs in like a classic and a Mayflash Gamecube to Wii remote adapter
I have one of these Game Cube style Hori battle pads for Wii or Wii U. It plugs into a Wii Remote. Any way to use this with my Switch? Thinking of Super Smash.
I don't think so. If you mean this controller; it's not USB. That one connects to the wiimote. Wiimote is not supported in the Switch, so no.
Worth mentioning there are more designs, such as a Pikachu one, a Lugi one, Link, Metal Mario, DK, Yoshi, Peach, Wario, and Samus. There might more designs, but that's all I found.
Regarding quality, they are officially licensed by Nintendo, so they should be good.
