I'm in love with my X220, and 100% agree with @XBrav: "Honestly, I'd only consider a higher model if I needed another display." While she performs really well on her own, if I need additional processing power I go to virtualization. The keyboard is a major factor for me, as well as battery life, fit and form factor. Also, the LED lamp! I've got an extended battery, SSD, max RAM. This machine will last me for a long long time, and should it ever wear out, my IT department has 2 other ones in a drawer.
@skovoroda, I wish I had seen your link several months ago...the Display port to HDMI adapter resolves the only weakness of the X220 (that mattes to me)
Great to see I'm not the only one who feels this way...my IT Geek colleagues look at me like I'm crazy.
I'm a happy x220 tablet owner. The only problem with it is hd3000 graphics, so it's hard to work with big autocad projects or even play games. You will also need this to connect hdmi display.
