$20 ones.

Seriously... I have these two and they sound great:

https://amzn.com/B00OVX7M3U (it's $10.99 now!)

https://amzn.com/B013U54BFG

Edit: Don't expect them to be comparable to a pair of $500 headphones, but if you're not an audiophile, they are definitely worth the price.

These MPow headphones have done me well 6 months of sweat, races, and rain and they're still working pretty great. I've been a little rough with them, ripping them off when I couldn't get to a good running song or when my MP3 runs out of batteries and they're still going strong.

Speaking of battery, unless you're ultrarunning, you'll more than likely be good with the battery life. I've only used them consecutively for ~ 5 hours so I can tell you from personal experience, they're good for at least that long.

Please don't spend $100 or whatever Jaybirds cost, personally, I feel like it'd be a waste of money.

If you're using your phone for music, try bluetooth earphones! Amazon have some by MPOW (which I have) and honestly they're so great. I picked up mines around $30. I don't have any comfortable pockets for my phone, so I like to just leave it near I'm working out.

I know [these] (https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-Headphones-Wireless-Sweatproof/dp/B013U54BFG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492525941&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=mpow+cheetah&psc=1) look ugly, and have fairly crappy sound, but they are wireless, cheap, and will not fall out/off. I got one of these for a gift, and used them for a little while, and they would never fall out. Range and battery were pretty good. Something like 40 feet, and 10-12 hours of battery.

I settled on some MPOW Cheetah’s for wireless headphones. Audio quality is surprisingly good for Bluetooth, and at $25 I wasn’t breaking the bank if I ended up hating them.

My biggest beef with them is uncoiling them. I can never seem to do it right.

Secure fit, sweat proof, cheap enough to get two. Keep one charged at all times.

u/maineia · 3 pointsr/artc

i use these: https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Headphones-Waterproof-Behind-Ear-Cancelling/dp/B013U54BFG

because they are ~ 20$ and they have held up pretty well - i had to replace them 2 times because of malfunctioning - once becasue of sweat ( i think) and once because they broke - i replaced one pair because i lost them (side note - i just found them in my winter jacket pocket this morning) but the price point hasnt made it too bad to replace and they seem to last a really long time before i have to replace them. also i really like them because there is some tension on the band and they dont move around or fall out.

u/tatertot255 · 3 pointsr/funny

I got these ones last year and wear them to the gym about a week and a half before I have to charge them.

u/Luckster · 2 pointsr/bodyweightfitness

I have MPOW Cheetah Bluetooth Headset and I love them, not expensive, sounds good (in comparison to cost), have owned for over a year and they don't fall off.

I would definitely recommend them.

I think the downvotes are because people are just generally against the concept, sucks man.

I use this one myself: Mpow Cheetah Bluetooth 4.1

The battery lasts long enough that I've never noticed how long it lasts! I've never had the battery die on mine, I use it for exercising or when I'm working alone. I'd say four hours would probably be the maximum amount I've used it in one sitting. It's been sitting on my desk unplugged for a few weeks, just turned it on and battery is still going, standby battery life seems pretty good too.

Biggest downside to this one is that there's a bit of a weird delay, there's a lag of 1-2 seconds between when the music plays and when it gets to your headphones. Only really noticeable if you're doing something like playing a game or watching a video.

u/plan_ahea · 2 pointsr/weightroom

I prefer using earbuds. I bought the Mpow Cheetah sport a few months ago for ~$25 on Amazon. They've been incredible! The battery lasts for ages, and I've never had any issues with fit. The sound is pretty decent too.

u/TheBigBossNass · 2 pointsr/ucf

I use these . I’ve had issues with earbuds falling out as well. But these actually hold them in your ears.

u/silverswift96 · 1 pointr/Fitness
  1. Run outside and track your progress (runtastic, mapmyrun), and get some tunes on a wireless headphone

  2. Do a lot of abs (look at P90x or anything else on youtube) and or calisthenics (pushups, burpees, etc) at home if you're worried about running.

  3. Most importantly -> fitness is about discipline, not motivation. Workout because you know you should, not because you feel pumped up.

u/AimingForZen · 1 pointr/Fitness

I really like these www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B013U54BFG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1453138832&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40&

They're bluetooth with a pretty decent range, they stay put whatever you're doing and of course you can take a call through them if you choose.

u/tusca99 · 1 pointr/headphones

I found https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B013U54BFG/ref=sspa_mw_detail_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFUVko4SlNMSlVCN0YmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAwMDAxMTIzOFMxRVk0V1lHTTNRJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA0NzI5NDkxRURKNU9IR1hRWlo0JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfZGV0YWlsJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0&smid=A1E57UY6AMKO25
And i think you want this design with earpods hook style (it's hard to find). My brother has one pair of those type (red) and was aukey but I couldn't find it on amazon, maybe look at their products oage first. And I tried them but couldn't keep them on for more than 2 minutes.

Not under $20, but close: Mpow Cheetah.

I have used and abused these for over 2 years and they still play music for almost 7 hours on one charge. When the battery is low they become quite annoying, with a female voice announcing "battery low" every 2-3 minutes until they run out of juice. They're compact enough to carry on the front pocket of a jean. The sound isn't great but I just got used to it and don't mind.

I'll probably buy again when the current ones die.

u/SparkleandBang · 1 pointr/FitnessDeals

I had the same problem when I used any kind of wired earbuds at the gym, with one channel eventually dropping out. I'd spend anywhere between $5-$50 replacing them and i might get 3-4 months out of a pair.

Then I switched to bluetooth earbuds for my workouts and never looked back. I've been using the Mpow Cheetah for the past year with no problems.

Mpow Cheetah

u/calvinkw1 · 1 pointr/running

I bought these 2 years ago:

https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetooth-Wireless-Headphones-Sweatproof/dp/B00V7N3V78

They've worked well for me and only cost around $20. There was a quality issue after a year where the band got disconnected from the earbud piece, but Mpow replaced em for me for free.

Have been looking to upgrade to something of higher quality.. maybe Jaybirds? Bose?

This is the cheap and the best headphones, I have ever used

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/EOOD

MPOW Cheetah are the ones I use, they never fall out, but the flexible wire is soft, so I can wear them for long time and they don't hurt.

u/moishew · 1 pointr/Fitness

For wireless headphones that are cheap, I feel like these can't be beat. It takes a minute to figure out their folding pattern but once you do you realize it's actually intuitive. Sound quality is good, but bass could be a bit better.

u/NotJimIrsay · 1 pointr/airpods

I have a pair of MPOW Cheetahs. For just over $20, they are a very good value. I will still sometimes wear them when I run on the treadmill at home.

u/pidojohnson · 1 pointr/AppleWatch

I got these for running a couple weeks ago and love them. Cheap, pair right away and hardly ever need charging. Not as good sound quality as my Bose on-ear but waaaay better for the gym.

u/Megazor · -5 pointsr/Android

There was something wrong with them.

I bought a cheap pair of Chinese headphones for my workouts and they last almost a week. I never listened a full day to test their 8h claim, but it's close to that.
