I take the One-a-Day two pill formula. The box comes with two different pill containers. One is a regular prenatal, the other is a DHA capsule. I've been tolerating them pretty well.
My wife is taking this one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CDKT3H6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My OB recommended this one (note, this is 2 separate tablets to take, included in the box).
However she was open to any similar ones, so I've been using this one as I find it on sale a lot/buy in bulk for less money. (note - it has epa too but doesn't say it on the front.) Look at the back of any prenatal to confirm it has both epa and dha.
I wasn't on birth control before we started trying, so I can't help you there. We just timed my cycles with an app and used condoms when I was ovulating. But I took prenatal vitamins for about a year before we knew we'd start trying. During this time, I took the cheapest prenatal gummies from Target . Once I got pregnant, I switched to a more expensive One-A-Day Prenatal . Good luck to you!
