There are two concerns when using electricity abroad:
Either way, Amazon is your friend. If all you need is a simple plug adapter (just converts the plug shape, with NO voltage conversion), there are worldwide adapters for under $5:

If you need a voltage converter as well, those are a little more expensive because they actually have some electronics inside. But are still quite affordable, under $15:

Your problem is that most people (and a lot of websites) think that a plug adapter is the same as a voltage converter. The plug adapter only changes the shape of the pins so you can plug it into the wall, but the voltage coming through will not be converted.
Your phones can handle a wide range of voltages, but other devices (hair straighteners/blow dryers are a common one that causes problems for some people) can only handle the ones they were designed for, and your country uses 110V, so those devices will need a converter to convert the 220V socket voltage to something that your device can use. This is, of course, in addition to an adapter.
There are some combination devices out there, and the converter will likely look like a large rectangle similar to the box on the end of your phone charger.

This is the kit we used when we were in Italy: Powerline Global Power kit (voltage converter as well as adapters). Another person had a Simran 1875, I think.
or this one?
