Don't know why they say "Sig Discontinued" unless they are the the old PVD coatings. The newer Cerakote coatings are really tough but have more of a gray color with a hint of OD green. Some people had issues with the earlier PVD coatings. I have personally seen rust on PVD coated Legions. Not sure why the P320 X-Five went back to the PVD coating unless they might have improved the quality.

I know Mec-Gar is pretty much the standard for aftermarket magazines but one time during a competition, I had a jam where the top bullet wedged upwards. 1 isolated incident but will be keeping an eye out.

The anti friction coating on the aftermarket Mec-Gar magazines seem to rub off easily and stick to the frame in spots where the magazine touches.

If you want an RMR, there is a pricey mounting plate for around $85 from Trijicon.

If you want to switch grips, make sure you heed the warning from Hogue about how the newer frames won't fit the old style grips because of the extended notch on the frame. You can get the newer style from them if you request it. Otherwise you will have to do a bit of milling down there.

The $200 credit is to the Sig Store and comes as a coupon. I believe it is used on a single order but not sure. Even if you qualify for free shipping before the coupon, the free shipping gets removed after applying the code.

Make sure to register your Legion to receive the Legion Soft case and Challenge coin.

The trigger on the newer P226 Legions have pretravel adjustment and can be adjusted with an allen wrench when you remove the slide and fit it into the set screw on the top of the trigger inside the frame. Tighten it too much and you will have an issue with the trigger not shooting. Just back it out plus a quarter turn to be safe.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to purchase the Sig Sauer shroud for the Romeo optic. The Romeo isn't the most durable optic. It does raise the optic a bit higher but not enough to really interfere with the iron sights.

Other than that, a very nice and reliable firearm that is almost 40 years old. Bore axis is a bit higher than most modern pistols but the beavertail is a bit higher and the weight of the frame keep it shooting smooth. Even better if you add a rail light.
