Most bikes use 9/16-20 threaded pedals. The issue with this is that 9/16 with a 20 tpi is a weird fucking size and is only really used on bikes. I'm sure if you look for a 9/16-18 thread repair kit you'll find them a dime a dozen (but don't do this. It won't work) . Also keep in mind that the pedals are threaded in opposite directions which requires two separate taps and sets of inserts. I used a cheap kit on my kid brothers bike but I can't seem to find it. What I did find was the left insert on Amazon for about 7 dollars and the reverse/forward oversize tap set for 40
Also, if you don't have a tap wrench you can use a drill but go slow and be really fucking careful. You are tapping aluminum so it should go through like warm butter so you shouldn't have too many issues. It's not like you're tapping forged steel with a steel tap. You really can't mess it up if you take your time. Cheers!

Here's Park Tools video on Pedal Bushing Repair If you check for Unior on Amazon, the left thread insert is less than $10 and the tap needed is $35. Here's the link I found
