That whole plot point was an attempt to sell Explodin' Putty figures, I swear.
Dude I totally feel you. I recently started writing in my college's newspaper and it requires interviewing a lot of people, most often on the phone. I dread every call; I stutter, talk too fast, have anxiety before, during, and for ages after every single one.
What does help is pulling up a word doc and writing down a little script for myself of what I need to say or what questions need to be asked.
