I wear flats all the time and after years of fighting no-show socks and powdery feet I switched to washable insoles. They're a comfortable, terry fabric but are backed with silicone so they stay put, and you can wash and dry them in the machine! I recommend going one size down to make them fit in your shoes a little easier but YMMV.

As someone who is chronically cold, I have a pair and they are the best. You just stick them in the microwave to warm up. Not only would they be good for keeping her warm, but also to soothe her feet after dancing!
I have footie pajamas and slippers on my wishlist. They would help me relax and just breathe because I'm ALWAYS cold. I even moved to Texas to avoid being cold. =[ Texas is a fair bit warmer than Ohio though!!

It looks like they're not too well stocked right now, but there are some similar products suggested on the site. I've seen battery operated heated socks/gloves/jackets too. I got them last winter. They're nice for when we're hanging out in the living room and my throw blanket isn't quite cutting it. Then I have my heating pad set up in the bed.
