Hi there!
I can't tolerate garlic either...like at all. For some reason, I'm okay with onion. I have to avoid garlic powder and salt as well. We cook with this often so that we can still get garlic flavor.
We've also been experimenting with garlic alternatives. I've read that elephant garlic isn't quite the same plant, so it might not cause the same reaction as regular garlic, I haven't experimented with that since realizing that garlic is a no go for me.
