My son is that age and he loves reading board books with mom and dad (and trying to eat them too). His favorite right now is Moo Baa La La La (and some of his other favorites are Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and The Pout-Pout Fish).

Around that age he also started wanting to climb out of the bathtub, so we were really happy with this The Fill And Spin Water Fountain Bath Toys - Flow Fill Spin Water Spout Interactive Baby And Kids Bathtub Toys - with Extra Orange Cloud . When he figured out how to spin the googly eyes with his finger, he just sort of cooed at it for a few minutes and it was unbelievably cute to watch (and of course he is now more busy playing with the toy to bother as much with climbing out of the tub).

A coworker gave us a stuffed animal (Friendship League 12" Plush Moose ) that our guy has also enjoyed playing with.

He also loves climbing up the stairs (with mom or dad) and throwing blocks (as well as everything in our recycling bin) down them.

An inexpensive item you could also gift could be a pack of tennis balls. Our son loves their bright color and since we have a lot of hardwood he’s super entertained when I show him how to bounce and roll them.

Hitting on a wall is, in all seriousness, one of the great joys and pleasures in my life. Most of the time I use the low compression balls that are used to teach kids. You can take full swings and control the ball with ease,
low compression training tennis balls.

I would suggest Penn pressureless balls. I bought some on amazon about a year ago to use with a ball machine. Let me tell you, Penn pressureless balls last forever. They still bounce great even after the beating that my ball machine has given them. My SO and I would first, go to the dog park together. Protect the car seats and make sure to bring the tennis ball launcher to tire out both pups. Also, here are the tennis balls.

Light this delicious, romantic Woodwick candle. Mood lighting/smells.

Make some homemade pizzas. From scratch, using ingredients out of these canisters and you have to make the pizza together. Sharing rolling and flouring duties. Possibly throw flower. Music should be playing in background, like this Momford & Sons album. Perhaps we'd even bake cookies together.

While pizza is baking, bust out Scrabble or Twister, whichever fits your style. Include drinks.

After getting significantly tipsy, watch movies together, Possibly a few Harry Potter movies.

Read books together. I'd read this new one by J.K. Rowling. Go to bed really late after doing some "adult things" together. Sleep on these warm sheets.

I also have my little boy Fenrir who just turned 3 this month.

last but not least, I have Star fox i found her wondering the streets a few weeks ago and I am trying to find a forever home for her. I was able to find her original owner who had given her to a guy who also gave her away to someone who let her go because she pooped on the floor.

I play mostly on clay courts... I just use the penn championship regular duty . I've found them at the local walmart for much cheaper than online.

Like others said, Nylabones do the trick. Our BC would chew on hers for hours. She never chewed on anything else in the house that she wasn't supposed to. We also gave her a megalast chew toy that she really likes. We can play for a while and she could take chew breaks when she needed to. Since she chewed the ears, feet, and tail off, it looks llike a dildo now :/

Side note, Penn tennis balls have been the only ones she hasn't torn apart within a few days.

Usually you can get a few autographs, especially if the pros are just going in for a practice; you can try to get pictures with the pros too, I got plenty. Plenty of places to eat, again a bit expensive and the lines can be long if you're going at peak hours. No need to be sorry. Feel free to ask any more.
