(Part 3) Reddit mentions: The best baby girls clothing

Hi there! I'm currently a SAHM too with my 9 month old daughter and I am totally nervous to leave her at a day care. So my pep talk is the great thing is that you get to leave her with her a daddy- a person you know, love, and trust. You know he also loves her and will treat her wonderfully. Actually, you are quite lucky you don't have to do the whole daycare and stranger thing!

My LO was born 7lb and 7oz and was drowning in all the 0-3mo clothes we had. We had to buy a bunch more NB sized stuff afterwards and he's still wearing them now at 2.5 weeks old, but half of them are going to be too small in the next week I think.

I like long sleeves with fold over mittens, prefer kimono style (gentler on the umbilical cord stump too) and just the snaps at the crotch for easy diaper changes at night compared to footed pajamas. If you do get footed pjs, I recommend zippers over snaps.

I haven't used any socks yet, because even the 0-3mo size are huge on my LO. They look like knee high baggy socks that just fall off. It's warm where I am, so we only use a light hat when we go out.

I am OBSESSED with the Maxaloones from House on the Rock Clothing. I have a few pairs and, while they're a tad spendy, they'll last much longer than any other piece of clothing my son outgrows in 3-6 months.

Because the pants are so fun I usually pair them with a plain colored t-shirt. I love and highly recommend the Kavio brand on Amazon. These Ts are SO soft and so comfy (think your favorite old band t that's been washed a million times and fits just right). They fit my tall/slim son perfectly. And they're adorable with plain jeans.

I'm not due until December but I really want my baby to come home in this - I love bumblebees and it's gender neutral so it works whether we have a girl or a boy (I'm hoping to convince my partner to not find out the sex until birth)

My daughter is really tiny too. Luckily I found some training pants that went well the way down to 6mo.

Ahhh, those are too adorable!! Some of the other sets are pretty darn cute, I was really amused by the "aww shucks" one in this set!

$20 - Pink SAMCRO Creeper - Then you could find a pink t-shirt for her maybe?

$18 - Black SAMCRO Cutte Designed Creeper or Toned down black one then get mom Black Reaper Women's Fitted Reaper T or if she does not have that type of figure get a black one that is not fitted.

Not sure if this is a good idea or not but they sell SoA women's and kids swimsuits too so they could be matching at the kiddie pool in the summer or the beach.

Hope that helps. I am guessing though that the little one is too big for the jumper but you see where I am going as I am sure with that idea you can search Amazon, eBay or just Google and find a bigger size or a different blanket perhaps.

Try amazon. I found a great pair of snow pants. The coat I got her was osh kosh and I see you don't like that brand but the snow pants weren't. I got size 18 mo and they fit my 16 mo old great with a little room to grow this winter.

The best! I would have sworn we had a few of this one, except I'm pretty sure we only paid like $8 each rather than 4x that, so either they got more expensive or we just had something very similar.

We ended up getting ours from Amazon as well. Bonus that we're having two flower girls and I could get this in both of their sizes 😊

Might I suggest footie pants like this
My son pulled all socks off so the footie pants were a good solution to this. Also, I dressed the boy in a lot of footie pajamas even during the day. I feel like this was the easiest all together.

I agree with the suggestion to consult your state's Early Intervention services, but as far as the undies issue... if you want to find underwear that he will tolerate what about thin cotton shorts? I am finding some in "baby" sizes like these or these. I'm seeing plenty of 2T size boxers on amazon too -- perhaps if he isn't quite fitting to 2T yet you could try to shrink some...

ETA: These are technically girls "boyshort" style undies but also look like they are comfy, sz 18-24mo.

You have probably already heard this song but this girl remade it. She is only 13 or 14 and has an awesome voice. It's one of my favorites.

I definitely NEED this OWL onesie and pant set for our pending arrival because it's hella cute and his lovey is an owl. 'Nuff said. :)
