I smashed my face last year when I fell down a mountain. Thanks to the following, my face is back to the exact same with the exception of a teeny scar. Mederma, a tad expensive due to SPF but worth it cuz it was my goddamn face, triple antibiotic ointment linked here but cheaper when purchased as a generic, and Cocoa butter with vitamin E, also available in Walmart/Target places for half the price as listed here. Basically what you're looking for is lotions with vitamin E. I've had luck looking in the "ethnic" hair/lotion/body products section, and there's a whole variety of oils and lotions and rubs. Personally, my favorite is this one and it's usually $2 in store. Bio Oil can be a bit expensive, but a great and comparable product is Africa's Best Moroccan oil, or generic Baby Oil. Again, most of these products are available at Walmart/Target for a fraction of the price. They're all fairly pricey online because of the weight/shipping prices, despite it being shipped via Prime.
Please keep in mind that my face was a tiny bit angry in the pictures from last night as I had just finished OCM. The morning pictures are from right after I woke up, before doing any of my morning routine. :)
My skin type: Pretty dry, acne-prone (obviously), prone to redness. I also have dermatillomania (compulsive skin picking) which creates a lot of scabs/scars.
PM Routine:
And done!
Seriously guys, I feel like a superhero with amazing healing powers! Thank you all so much for the advice and guidance. <3
I picked up a MUCH better routine so day-to-day it’s better than when I was younger, but I have some residual sun spots that I want to zap off in the near future. My frown lines also started to settle, so hiiiii forehead Botox (zero ragrets).
Here’s my routine:

I should answer the question myself, so here it is, as detailed as I can.
I shave once a week because I believe my skin would not recover otherwise, but lately I've been wondering if it might not be actually hurting and if I would not benefit from not letting the hair grow too long.
As for my protocol, there was a post a while ago on Reddit where a stripper explained how she shaved down there. I took her method, and adapted it, plus my own little things :
Finally, I try to apply Nivea Soft Refreshingly Moisturizing Creme every day.
Even with all this, I usually look like this on the first 24h after shaving.
I happened to use this of my son's on my face once and loved it, I'm sure someone is going to tell me it's bad lol. But I've had great luck with it for oil cleanse/makeup removal. (Idk why it's so expensive on Amazon you can find it other places for ~$10)

Daily:
splash my face with cold water
Morning wash my face with Garnier Cleanser followed by Toner, Renewal Serum, then I massage my face & massage in moisturizer, followed by some (mostly for the smell) aftershave, and I massage my hairline with Vitamin E Oil, & after it feels like my face has absorbed it, i usually start applying sun protection for eyes and then the rest of my face & neck, exposed skin (arms, legs, etc) protection and hands
while at night, i take a shower (usually after a bit of exercise) and cleanse my face with cleanser lotion and my with a good body wash and follow later on (usually before i go to sleep) with another facial cleansing using the Garnier pure essentials & then some night cream
and I usually repeat this routine daily with the exceptions that I don't put the sun protection on when I won't be going outside in the day-time and I usually skip it all one day out of every week to let my skin rest
Non-daily:
On top of that, I usually try to shave facial hair every few days. I start by putting a hot rag over my face, then I use a cotton ball to rub on baby oil
and I exfoliate once a week (my body & my face) using a good facial exfoliating scrub that's either L'Oreal or the Body Shop and I use the same scrubber from the L'Oreal one for both
and scub my body with one of three scrubs using exfoliating gloves
after exfoliating my face, I usually follow with a moisturizing mask (using Honey, Fresh Lemon Juice, and Whole Wheat Flour) & I usually try to do it on the beginning of the week (Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday) so I can follow 3 days later with another one. If on Sunday, then I follow on Wednesday with a non-homemade mask and I try to follow at the end of the week (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) with a 2nd homemade mask (Using caramel, baking soda, an egg yolk, whole milk, and 100% cocoa powder)
then, I usually moisturize my face and my body. I also try to moisturize my body at least once a week (sometimes more) by taking a bath using 2-cups of milk, fresh lemon juice (1/2 - 1 whole lemon), sometimes some honey, and specially formulated bubble bath.
I try to mix this with a relatively regular exercise schedule (cardio around 5 days a week (I'm researching different weigh-lifting regimens & Yoga & Calisthenics to add to this)) & a balanced diet (alot of fiber, fruit (daily), lots of water, vegetables when I can (salads, veggie sandwhiches when I can (I might start drinking a daily V8 for more)), White & Green Tea daily, limited sweets (usually just a nutrigrain when I do))
So, if you've actually read to this point I salute you. My question is if there's anything generally wrong with this routine (other than price & the fact that it shows my level of OCD)
Dish detergent sounds absolutely horrible for your skin! That has to be so harsh and drying!
This is [baby oil] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GCJLZC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_D6kQwbNZNEDV6). It has so many uses (AMAZING for shaving. You should try it) but it's basically to help lock in moisture in your skin. It's very oily (hence the name oil) and does help remove a lot of stuff. Works great for stubborn lip and brow products. I don't know if I'd recommend it for face use though unless you used the teeniest amount. That stuff will leave your face greasy if you're not careful.
Tried it. Love it.
Definitely not my every day routine but it has its purpose and earned a spot next to my powder on the shelf. It does strangely keep everything cool and fresh, and the bit of oily feeling isn't as disquieting as I had worried. The Baby Oil Gel is easier to work with.
You can find this at Target in the Baby Section. Put it on after EVERY shower. Try and get some sun on that skin to the point of sunburn status. Your post has inspired me to make an OTC master post for my whole routine. But this lotion is Da Best.

It's billed as a bulk bottle since the bottle cannot be reused after the patient is done. Think of it as being billed $4.26 for each dose x 100 theoretical doses in the bottle, instead of just the price of the bottle because it's smaller.
See how the mineral oil was billed as a unit dose cup of 30mL x 1 dose of $4.02? Whereas an entire bottle is like $2 for ~600mL? https://www.amazon.com/Mountain-Falls-Vitamin-Compare-Johnsons/dp/B071GKQV1Q/ref=sr_1_3_acs_sk_pb_1_sl_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1537489684&sr=8-3-acs&fpw=pantry&keywords=mineral+oil
Congrats on your new baby by the way (based on your medication list)

Don't like it for the same reason. Prefer Baby Oil, but, upgrade to Baby Oil GEL and you and your GF will both be even happier. Source: I'm looking down at 'em.
I did a three-pronged approach. I used this shampoo , then after their bath I rubbed in this balm and then combed out the dry flakes with this comb/brush . I still use the shampoo but I don’t always have to use the balm and brush. My daughter had it bad and now is much much better, and my son goes through phases but it’s better for him too.
Try this
Looks like it contains Methyl Salicylate.
I got you fam
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Johnsons-baby-First-Touch-200ml/dp/B00LIA72UM this, but I'm unsure if you can get it in Germany, sorry I don't have time to find one at the moment!
