Luck!y! How fun! I cant wait to take my girls there, gotta wait till the baby is a little older :)

  1. Aladdin. I love that movie. When my dad died in the 90's, someone gave us a new Aladdin and Lion King VHS. I watched Aladdin everyday. It was funny and I loved the songs.

My kid hates socks but we got these ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0756YBRLN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_pEg9Bb24WX5V1 ) and they are the only socks he has ever kept on. The grippy part is perfect (we have hardwood everywhere and in 2 months he hasn't slipped at all - and he is a runner) and they are super thick and warm. And they pull up to his knees, which means the pants he wears keep them in place anyway. Totally worth it.

Baby banz seem nice. My daughter loves pulling them off, anyway.

Yay! This is really the only group I regularly visit on reddit, so instead of gold how about these? :-)

I just put on socks that look like shoes. I have these http://www.amazon.com/Trumpette-Jitterbug-Jenny-Colors-Months/dp/B003F2D534/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1369922959&sr=8-7&keywords=trumpette+socks and love them. They have cute sneaker ones too that even have laces. Plus, they stay on better than most socks I have. They still come off from time to time, but they stay on longer.

I'm a big boy now

Congrats I am just starting to potty train my 2 yr old.

I'd get something like this for when the baby gets here

I ordered a pack off amazon one in every color!!. I like them a lot.

I also had an activity for my baby shower where guests made a headband. Look up headband making kits!

I use to buy a lot of sweatshirts and T-shirts for work at that Value Village you pass on by in your video. I had to stop doing that a couple of years ago when bedbugs started to become so prevalent.

And speaking of babies and socks, my grand-niece has a eight month old and I'm on her Amazon wish list page right now and she still has these on there. What do you think? Should I get them for her?

I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BR0WUCI/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not a perfect match but I think it looks good and it's decent quality unlike most baby size cowboy hats!

I'm a librarian, I'm good at research. :D

Here it is for sale on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/San-Diego-Hat-Company-Christmas/dp/B003BEDRGG

Another vote for the Swaddle UP. DD wanted to sleep with her hands by her face, so we tried one right away. We transitioned to the 50/50 when she started rolling over, and now she sleeps in it with both arms out. We put her in a long-sleeved onesie to sleep or use leg warmers like these on her arms.

My two year old daughter's hair is curly and difficult. Mom and I have developed a method that seems to work.

  1. During bath time apply conditioner liberally and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Repeat
  3. Only use shampoo biweekly.
  4. It's MUCH easier to brush the hair directly after a bath.
  5. Use detangler (watered down conditioner in a spray bottle) if you need to.

This leaves the hair shiny and smooth. The only style I really do is putting it in a ponytail using these but I'm sure you can find lots of tutorials on YouTube.

Protip on the mittens, they will fall off and you will lose them. Get baby socks with high cuffs, like these.

They will go up to the babies elbow, keep them warm and scratch free. Plus they have an EXTRA hard time being little ninjas and getting them off ;)

We bought this! We bought the size up though so we didn’t have to buy it twice. It has a drawstring in the back to tighten and two strings that tie around the neck!

Instead of shoes I went with socks with the anti slip pads on them. We have all hardwood floors at home and they worked great for us when my LO started walking at 9months.

My daughter went through this. She never seemed to mind her red knees, but I did put on her baby leg warmers to crawl in when her knees looked too rough. I think it bothered me more than her, honestly.

u/Dangernj · 2 pointsr/BravoRealHousewives

I know this sounds crazy but my gf's dog wears baby leg warmers like this because she is a bored chewer. It might be worth a try before making a drastic diet change and driving yourself crazy.

(If you have a walmart near you) Look in the regular sock section. They have packs with grey and black heels, that would work with either sex.

Just read that you're in AU. How much time do you have? You could order these from Amazon.
