You can definitely put the car seat on the bottom; I’ve done it. You have a 2015 or newer vista? And a Chicco car seat? You would need these two adaptors:

UPPAbaby Vista Lower Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072J7ZH9X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Sj9XBb7WCSNXE. (amazon warehouse has a returned like new one for $12.78!)

UPPAbaby Infant Car Seat Adapter for Chicco https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OC8WJU0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_5l9XBb8EE7BJ4. (Amazon warehouse has one for $33)

You can get the upper adapter to give more space between the kids, but I think it might all fit fine without it.

if you have a stroller you already like, there are attachments that basically are a little platform with wheels that go on the back. That way your toddler can stand up and hold on between your hands as you push the baby in the stroller. Something like this, though this is an expensive one: https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Stroller-Supports-Reinforced-Clearance/dp/B07GNDBQCN/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=Toddler+stroller+attachment&qid=1565473663&s=gateway&sr=8-6

If it makes you feel better, why not? They make cute animal ones that seem to have good reviews.

When you go to the Amazon page for the item, on the right side just under the "Add to Cart", "Buy Now", etc. buttons....there will be a "Other Sellers on Amazon" section. If you click the "xx open box & new from $xx.xx", it'll take you to this page, where you can see all that they have available. Currently there is an Amazon Warehouse option, but the savings isn't great ($18.22 open box vs. $19.99 for new)

I may have just gotten lucky with the % discounts. In January I got the upper adapter for $12.22, the lower for $14.26, and in February got the Maxi Cosi adapter for $27.96

Currently I see the lower adapter has an open box for $21.52 vs. $24.99 new, and the Ride-Along has one for $109.36 vs. $119.99 new.

Not as great as early this year, but that savings does add up I guess. Better than nothing?

We're also going to be a 1+ twins family- older daughter will be 3.5 when twins arrive. Staying home all day is not an option...she's in school 5 mornings a week and then will be off for summer with cabin fever when they're 3 months old ;)

We got the Baby Jogger City Select double. With adaptors, you can click in infant seats then later on use the seats it comes with. Since my daughter doesn't need a stroller day to day, we're getting this seat for the rare occasions we need to make our stroller a triple:

I baby wore a lot the first time around and there are lots of places I take my daughter where using a stroller exclusively is impractical. So I'm committed to mastering tandem babywearing and will throw any amount of money on however many carriers I need!

I know that I've seen these used in the past and I'm sure that there are other options, but you can buy clips that connect two umbrella strollers together.
