  1. I have 3 wonderful cats, [Spoons, Charly & Nona] (http://imgur.com/XYhveFe) and they have [this tie] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009Y32VZG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=SB72OW29MGM1&coliid=I28K9OJN7KG43Z) would look super dapper on Spoons!
  2. Buy a clicker. It's a tiny plastic box with a metal flap on the inside that you press and it makes a clicking noise. It's a great way to train your pets. They cost about $1 and are near the checkout at the pet stores. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that can give you great ideas. [Like this!] (http://youtu.be/7TxvHDVX2rQ)

Thanks so much for the contest! Lily is super cute!

I have had this cat bow tie collar on my wishlist for the longest time, and it would look absolutely fantastic on my cat. She's white and fluffy. I ordered one of these once before for a friend's cat and was surprised at how high quality it was and have wanted one for my cats ever since. She honestly probably wouldn't care if she was wearing it - or at least she'd forget it was there after a minute or two. :) I don't know if that is prime-eligible, but I fear not. Just because of that, here is something else I want within that price range:

The green tea... root beer... sounds like it could be absolutely amazing or completely disgusting! I love that idea! It comes in a four pack so there would be enough to share. As far as drinks go as well, that price is actually really good for Amazon, I am surprised.

And if all else fails, there is always one of my favorite movies, of which I don't own. ;)

The zoo is so much fun! I hope you have a great time :) Definitely something that you never grow out of. What is your favorite animal at the zoo? I love seeing all the big cats and the penguins. Also, hell yeah for East Coast ladies!

This collar would look wonderful on my pet Moose.

Thanks for hosting!

Edit: get your zoo on gurl

Hello and welcome! My name's Harley. This place is awesome and I'm happy you're here! :) I cook a ton too, let's swap recipes.

I think the silliest thing on my WL right now is this rhinestone kitty collar. I am a total cat mommy and love to spoil my princess. Here's an example of her sitting on me and me not moving for hours. I hope think other cat parents understand!!

You are a cat hero. I can literally feel your love for this little guy from across the entire internet. And you wrote his story so beautifully... (tooter... that is the best word ever) okay, sorry, I'll get down to actual advice. XD

When my 1-year-old had to have a laparotomy last month, she too managed to use black magic to get out of every single cone/"alternative to cone"/contraption/combination I could finagle. I was pretty sure I would have to literally burrito her for two weeks.

Then I stuck this thing onto her:

https://www.amazon.com/BiteNot-Cat-Collar-2-5-W/dp/B001VPAAS0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1498117383&sr=8-3&keywords=bitenot

...in fact, you can see my review on there (and a picture of said 1-year-old wearing it). Since it has a chest-strap attached, it can't just be pushed off by clever paws, and she wasn't able to pull/push it off by "happening" to (purposefully) get it caught on something and then tugging like mad. The Chairman might be more inventive than Kohl was in regards to finagling out of it, but it stayed on my cat for two weeks straight, and she is the eeliest youngster I've ever met. It's pricey, but worth a try.

Keeping fingers and claws crossed over here!

I've been happy with this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003V4ARW8/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?qid=1422660395&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&dpPl=1&dpID=41-FW1IpCOL&ref=plSrch

It has a bell, glows in the dark, and is quick release. When I put their collars on I make sure it can't fit over their head, but I can easily fit two fingers under it.

Also about the door dashing. We keep a small tin of pennies right by the door and shake it if they look like they are going to bolt out. They caught on pretty quick. We hardly have to do it at all anymore.

The harness may be too small for your cat to be comfortable standing up. None of the normal harnesses I found in stores worked for my cat. As soon as I put them on him, he would hug the ground and not move at all, even if I picked him up and put him outside. I finally realized it was because his chest expanded much farther than the harness would allow. Try a fully adjustable one like this single rope harness/leash, and you will probably see a huge difference, as it allows for any size by shortening the lead: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0002ASGU4.

I did a quick Google search for "stretch cat collar" and got a few hits. Something like this would probably be best since it only has the one stretch point, making it harder for your cat to get off without actually being stuck on something. There's also options like this and this where I believe the whole collar stretches.

Get something like this if she looses tags!

Just make sure you get one that is a breakaway collar specifically for cats. S/he is adorable!

u/for-the-yell-i-get · 1 pointr/aww

I'd highly recommend getting a glow-in-the-dark or reflective collar. Less tripping over them, more peace of mind should they ever get out at night. We use this one for our black cat.

I started when he was super little, so he's used to it. I also wonder if this type of harness might feel a little less constraining.

I would say, if the cat has never worn a harness or gone outside before, you might want to try just the harness for 10-15 minutes for a few days before you actually try going outside with it on.

Ok I found it. I didn't see it on petsmart's website but they had it in my store.

I paid $44 with tax at petsmart. It's $25 on amazon. We got a large.

Calm Paws Protective Collar - It comes with this little insert that smells funny and supposedly soothes the dog with it's smell.

They also sell it on chewy but I've never used that site before.

u/autumnwake · 3 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I mean I'd say just buy yourself something and give the kitty the box because they will love it. But if that doesn't sound that exciting there's always this so they always look stylish.

Kim Jong Undead

u/KalisCoraven · 2 pointsr/picrequests

You could also grab a picture of an identical collar from amazon, it's a pretty common style: http://www.amazon.com/East-Side-Collection-Rhinestone-Collar/dp/B000GDXHDS

u/lordofthederps · 7 pointsr/cats

I got this [glow-in-the-dark collar](http://www.amazon.com/8-Inch-Safeloc-Breakaway-Adjustable-Reflective/dp/B003V4ARW8 "Amazon product page") for my own grey kitty. It's not a perfect solution, as her hair usually covers up a lot of the collar, but it's saved her from getting stepped on a couple of times already.

These wipes for when kitty gets into minor messies

And this extra gentle wash so you can give her baffs and play!

A leash to go on walks

Oldie but goodie toy

You're going to need a tag in case kitty wanders off, and a collar of course!

Deshedding brush to control the hairs

Clippers to trim the nails

Welcome back. Fancy contest! What's the gamer site link? Here is something I want for my cat because she would look addorable in it but there's stuff in real life I need more so I haven't bought it.

u/UniqueUsernameLOLOL · 10 pointsr/airplaneears

It is a breakaway collar.
