For what it's worth, if you have an old big TV antenna on your roof (or are willing to try one out as an experiment), you can actually use that to improve your LTE reception and connect it to a hotspot using an adapter.

You may want to check CellMapper.net to see if any of the carriers have towers need you. If so, and if you can get a signal, then you can use an unlimited data hotspot plan, like AT&T has.

If you could somehow fit the wire, a RG6 feed-through bushing is fairly small. Maybe cut a slot on the bushing with a box cutter and slide the wire in.
