My tastes run all over the map, so there's some chance these will be antithetical to your interests, but just in case...

I absolutely love the Estonian Philharmonic Choir, but especially this to begin relaxing you.

Next i would probably throw in some Mark Kozelek/Sun Kil Moon/Red House Painters, either [this](http://www.amazon.com/Bedtime-Lullaby/dp/B002QEPKPI/ "Bedtime Lullaby") or [this](http://www.amazon.com/Love-At-First-Feel/dp/B0010Q9O0U/ "Love At First Feel") are recommended.

I like Leonard Cohen as a contrast to Kozelek, specifically [this](http://www.amazon.com/So-Long-Marianne/dp/B00137ZFRC/ "So Long Marianne")

Next some Esperana Spalding, probably [this one](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019BTJWY/ "Fall In") because I'm a hopeless romantic.

This flows nicely into Donnie Hathaway's A Song For You.

And depending on whether you can take more uptempo, soulful stuff, Taj Mahal's got [all](http://www.amazon.com/Lovin-In-My-Babys-Eyes/dp/B0013832GM/ "Lovin In My Baby's Eyes") [kinds](http://www.amazon.com/Farther-On-Down-The-Road/dp/B0013AEZZM/ "Further On Down The Road") of good.

Next something like [this](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012QHRCU/ "Jolie Holland - Wandering Angus")

Then maybe [Fink](http://www.amazon.com/Walking-In-The-Sun/dp/B0028EX7CO/ "Walking In The Sun"), this is highly recommended.

Which I'd follow with [this Boozoo Bajou track](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002N8YA0I/ "Treat me feat. Willie Hutch")

And if you get too stimulated from all that, maybe a [Debussy track](http://www.amazon.com/Debussy-Prélude-laprès-midi-dun-faune/dp/B00122PFF0/ "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune") to space it out a bit.

And of course I'd have to throw in one of my all time favorite songs, Andy Bey's Cosmic Blues.

These are just off the top of my head, I could probably spend hours listing more. Without knowing your tastes, it's kinda hard.

Okay so first of all, thank you for the contest!!! Secondly, I had a huge goal of running a 5k when you hate running as much as I do that seems horrid so I started running with no music, just what Planet Fitness was playing then my ex suggested that I take my playlist with me and holy wow let me just tell you what an impact it had. I felt so awesome and like I could conquer the world. It's all about keeping that upbeat and for me loud music going. Below are two songs that I can legit run way further two when listening to especially when the beat drops I drop right into a rhythm. I hope they help. Progress is progress no matter how small so start off small and build from there. I believe in you and I know you can do it. Get it, girl! because you deserve to have everything in this life you want :)

[Song from Amazon: Midnight City by M83] (http://www.amazon.com/Midnight-City/dp/B005PMNCGC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394214756&sr=8-1&keywords=midnight+city) [Corresponding video that's actually really badass if you ask me.] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX3k_QDnzHE)

Maybe also check out [Too Close by Alex Clare] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYXjLbMZFmo) Here it is on [Amazon] (http://www.amazon.com/Too-Close/dp/B007VF2PAA/ref=sr_1_1?s=dmusic&ie=UTF8&qid=1394215065&sr=1-1&keywords=too+close+alex+clare)

So I keep myself motivated with quotes. I have a [Pinterest board full of them] (http://www.pinterest.com/fmradiochick/quotes-to-live-by/) I hope some of them help to motivate you <3

I just absolutely love [this song] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I0C9PT2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1JZ9YT455ZCAF&coliid=I3KGBYWRMGP0VD)

|name|Elle King|
|about artist|Featured in the last issue of Love magazine and February's V Magazine as well as creating buzz amongst music bloggers everywhere, Indie darling Elle King is creating her own unique stamp on the anti-folk movement. Born in Ohio and raised in Brooklyn by her mother, she retains her roots in a style that blends those two worlds of both grit and mid-western charm. She often draws comparisons to Billie Holiday, Duffy, Regina Spektor and Adele. Miss King cites old blues, rock n' roll, and greats like Johnny Cash as her biggest influences. Favorite old song go west - king of wishful thinking. I'm not sure why I love it but it still gets played once a week!

Favorite new song robin thicke - blurred lines because it is a fun one to car dance to!

Song I'd love to own

Room without a roof!

Love is like a Heatwave

I would like this for my summer mix that will be enjoyed by me and my two neices (11 years old and 13 years old) on our way to the beach in EIGHT WEEKS!

Something good that happened to me recently is that I had a booksale to benefit a rescue kennel this weekend and we made $549 selling books for $1!!

If you're pretty sure the musician is Stevie Wonder, then go to Amazon's order for his "best of" set and play all the samples of all the songs. One of them might be the one you're looking for!

alex Clare - too close

Congrats on the promo. I hope your dad is ok

Stevie Wonder -- The Definitive Collection

Basically how I began to love music.

Amazon.com has a couple of options. The more comprehensive of the Best of Albums is The Essential Earth, Wind & Fire. It appears to have all of their hits from the 1970's to the 2000's.

An cheaper alternative, is Earth Wind & Fire Greatest Hits. This compilation has less songs than The Essential and it doesn't include all of their hits, but the hits here were probably their biggest ones from the 1970s through the early 1980s (arguably their heyday).

In my opinion, artists that are similar to EW&F would include The Isley Brothers, The Commodores, and maybe Kool & The Gang.
