It says on the box that it's used for tapeworms

https://www.amazon.com/Panacur-Canine-Dewormer-4-gram/dp/B000296N7S

Edit: Ok it looks like it's only effective against some kinds of tapeworms, and not the most common kind. You're right

My dog recently had works and I got a broad spectrum dewormer that worked great

Fenbendazole, 1 mg/l dosis (≈12 mg for yoir tank when accojnt for substrate) for 1 week, afterwards remove it with active carbon and gravel vacuuming. Can be from e.g. Panacur. (Yes, that are 12000 mg for 12$ or 1000 times what you need). Or just ask your local vet for fenbendazole.

I bought this off of Amazon, bought a 150 mL beaker, and mixed 1 of the 3 packets into 100mL of distilled water and stirred for about 2 min until the water was milky white.

Recommended dosing is 1 mL of this mixture for every 10 gal every 12 hours, with a water change after 48 hours. Since this was my breeding shrimp tank and didn’t want to risk them, I did a half dose of .5 mL, 3 separate times 12 hours apart. No hydra in the 2 weeks post treatment.

If you wanted to be aggressive with it you could do the full dose, and with 20 gal it would be 2 mL. You can half that and work up if you’d like to be cautious. Post results and let me know which method you used

Do you think that the insides of mammals are made up of something bigger than the outsides of insects? Have you taken a biology course?

I haven't actually said whether or not anything is safe. I read the site you linked me, in which it was described as glass, your thorough refusal to take your dog to the vet or to get dewormer from Walmart, and your idiocy in being more willing to feed your dog the contents of your pool filter. I'm just saying: if you're going to have something shaped like glass destroy something with an exoskeleton - imagine how squishy your dogs insides are. Get some real proof before your cheap and sorry ass kills your dog.

This is your dog's life we're talking about. Be a good person here, actually treat your animal with the right things, be responsible. Next I hear, you'll be going all vegan with a cat or something. Because it's natural.

You know what else is natural? Poison ivy.

ETA: You're complaining over a total of 8.40$ here: http://www.amazon.com/Panacur-Canine-Dewormer-2-gram/dp/B00028ZLDG

Ugh I am dealing with the same problem! Someone recommended this product to me so I am going to give it a try. There are videos on youtube explaining how to use it.
