The best I use. Its fits nicely and isn't teribly bulky. I wear it with my ccw (shield 9) a knife, and then also my work belt, a utiliy belt over it with ky1es, a maglite, and cuffs.

I have no experience with a real quality shoulder holster, as I am not a fan of them for serious work. The above belts, and holsters are a sample of great choices I personally own/use everyday on or off duty. Good luck

With a light gun, like all these <20oz pocket pistols that are so common these days, you could get a few more months than that out of a Hanks Extreme belt... It's not ideal, sure, but it'll last a few months before you'll be itching to get a reinforced belt.

Nevermind. Even the Hanks Extreme is $55.

Nothing in the <$45 range will work for EDC use. OP, just pick out any cheap Hanks belt for your price range while you save for a good reinforced belt.

I Googled swivel holster, looks like it's a thing. From the pictures it looks like it turns freely on a "drop style" or on a rachet when the swivel is closer to the center of gravity, my guess is it makes getting in and out of a car easier, he probably just didn't turn it back upright.

I've work one of these for about a year, and I love it. I had a nylon web belt, then a nice leather belt, then an actual dual-layer leather gun belt. And now one of these. That nice leather belt from the local Mennonite shop doesn't even compare to a real belt with a stiffener in it. I wear this thing daily, even when I don't carry a gun. It's really good.

Depending on what belt you use, if it has loop velcro on the inside I reccomend something like this. Obviously you have to wear pants with belt loops and a good fit, as well as tuck your shirt in, but mine work great even when fully loaded with pistol, dump pouch, ifak, and GBB mags.

Even though been carrying for 2 years only I went through a lot (money too) trying different belts and holsters that fits me.

Here’s what I use now:

My business casual belt: blade Tech

My EDC belt: blue alpha hybrid

Holster for my g19 is a g code incog.
Holster for my g17 is HBC Concealment, local shop that’s great.

I've been using a Wolf Tactical Heavy Duty Rigger's belt. I carry a Walther PPS M2 in the waistband at around 4:00. It holds my pants up well and does a hundred times better than all of the cheap leather belts that I've had in the past.

This one isn't very expensive but it works well for me. I will upgrade eventually but for now I'm happy. At first it would dig into my stomach when sitting down but after two or three weeks of wearing it every day it stopped bothering me. This probably wouldn't be a problem if I weighed 60lb less.

That would have the exact same issue, I believe. I didn't like it due to how far away from the body it actually held the weapon. I moved to a different brand and type of OWB holster which is better manufactured, and apparently much safer. :)

Sure - but just a warning - the Offworld jacket is the most expensive part of the outfit. It's a USMC WEP style jacket, which is typically a Nylon shell and goes for $200+. On the show, however, they used a RipStop material, which isn't as shiny. If you don't care about that, you can save yourself about $100.

Takes a few longer to get on as you can't just loop through. You remove buckle, feed belt & then put buckle on and zip to size. Cobra buckle rocks.

If you are looking to save cash you can get a Cytac holster and molle platform.

Not sure. Like I said, it looks like the buckle is stitched on so you'd have to get it around that somehow. Not sure that's possible. Cytac does make a molle mount

Neither of those belts are stiff enough to be gun belts.

Check out something like this belt. I have worn it for years. You do not want a riggers belt unless you plan on rappeling from something.

Your holster is also not any good for appendix carry. I would look at the offerings from: Raven Concealment, Haley Strategic's Incog line, Bradford Tactical Holsters, and T-Rex Holsters.
