Scavenger hunts are too much fun! I should be working! RAWR! Thanks for the fun break =]

1.) Something that is grey. My name is makeup and I am grey! WL

2.) Something reminiscent of rain. This color is called "Naughty Nautical". Nautical = water, water = rain. =D?? WL

3.) Something food related that is unusual. Pretty sure most people don't have teeney shaped veggie cutters. WL

4.) Something on your list that is for someone other than yourself. Tell me who it's for and why. (Yes, pets count!) This is for my two parrots! My quaker especially loves dried papaya. I'm teaching her how to fly right now and have been using food as a reward, but we ran out of papaya a couple of weeks ago, and our local bird store has been out of stock for a long time. Turns out that Whole Foods doesn't carry dried papaya either. Rawr! WL

5.) A book I should read! I am an avid reader, so take your best shot and tell me why I need to read it! The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I had heard about this when the movie came out in English. I liked the movie and then moved on with my life. Come this spring, I found myself facing a LOT LOT LOT of driving by myself, so I started borrowing audiobooks from the library. I borrowed all three of these books and REALLY enjoyed them. It wasn't at all what I expected. They're murder mysteries with a lot of themes about violence against women. When I learned about the author, it became that much more interesting. The author wrote these books with the intention of making 10, but died after the third one. They found them after he died. The themes about sexual violence stem from a gang rape he witnessed as a teenager. He never forgave himself for not being able to help her, so he channeled all those emotions into his writing later in life. Anyway.....interesting stuff. Good books. I recommend them :)

6.) An item that is less than a dollar, including shipping... that is not jewelry, nail polish, and or hair related! Pfft.

7.) Something related to cats. I love cats! (keep this SFW, you know who you are...) If I was a cat, this would be my JAM!

8.) Something that is not useful, but so beautiful you must have it. Dresses are admittedly useful for avoiding public indecency charges, but not really useful beyond that. BUT LOOK AT THE RAINBOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WL

9.) A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why? Not on my wishlist (it's on American Netflix though!), but everyone should be aware of the impact of plastic on the environment and our bodies. Education is everything. Plus, there's a newborn baby at the end.

10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. Explain. 1. Stab zombie in the skull. 2. ??? 3. Profit. The reviews rave that it's super sharp and doesn't stick so it probably wouldn't get stuck in their skull like other knives. WL

11.) Something that would have a profound impact on your life and help you to achieve your current goals. I don't know if I'd use the word profound, but it would sure help me out. A big passion of mine is learning to ID birds. I'm pretty good at most birds, but finding information on juveniles is VERY difficult sometimes. I've used this book before to help identify birds in hand, but I think the information regarding juvenile plumage would help me identify young birds from afar. It's even part of my job to identify birds! WL

12.) One of those pesky Add-On items. This is an Add-On item, but it's also a hair addon =P Not on my WL, but I'm losing my hair like crazy so I might have to look into these >.>

13.) The most expensive thing on your list. Your dream item. Why? This isn't the most expensive item on my list (that was #8), but it's the one that would help me the most! When I do field work, I tend to have a lot of gear on me at once, and the extra strain of binoculars around my neck tends to give me some really freaking sore muscles. A harness would be MUCH easier on my shoulders/neck/back. I start field work again in October, so I plan on buying it for myself by then anyway =] WL

14.) Something bigger than a bread box. EDIT A bread box is typically similar in size to a microwave. This is larger than the average bread box.

15.) Something smaller than a golf ball. I am smaller than a golf ball! WL

16.) Something that smells wonderful. This smells amazing!!! I'm infatuated with cinnamon, but had to stop using cinnamon Crest YEARS ago because I developed a bad reaction to it. This stuff is expensive, but the company is very environmentally responsible and I feel good giving my business to them. WL

17.) A (SFW) toy. This seems pretty SFW unless you're playing Cards Against Humanity. evil grin WL

18.) Something that would be helpful for going back to school. I used sticky notes all the time in school! WL

19.) Something related to your current obsession, whatever that may be. I've obsessed with birds since I was 11. I've been obsessed with rainbows forever. I'm currently obsessed with sushi. THIS IS ALL THREE! WL

20.) Something that is just so amazing and awe-inspiring that I simply must see it. Explain why it is so grand. Hear me out! This baby can keep ice for DAYS. Sitting out in the sun for hours on end? NO PROBLEM! YOU'LL HAVE ICE AT THE END OF THE DAY!! Seriously, Thermos needs to pay me for how much I rave about their stuff. My water bottle has still had ice in it after three days AND being refilled twice. No joke.

This beauty was made in OR.

You could always play Would You Rather? Or maybe tell jokes or riddles for part of the way there. Put up a funny sign in a window that doesn't obstruct your view and see how many people you can get to honk. My friends and I did that on the way to our first concert and it was hilarious.

Make sure to make time to see some sights that you wouldn't wanna miss on the way.

Make sure to pack lots of snacks and drinks for hydration and any other roadside emergency supplies, just in case.

Podcasts are great when you need something to listen to, but have been listening to music for hours straight. Maybe research some that might interest you before you head out so you have a planned list.

Best idea of all, teach your dogs to drive and then you can just watch movies the whole way there or read. Or sleep. Doesn't matter cuz the dog is driving. Might wanna teach him not to chase other cars lol

This is something that I'd like to have or this
Whichever is awesome.

Go west, my friend!

When I was in High School I would die my hair a different color every week. Some people thought it was strange but I loved it. I would just get bored and change colors. So I have had almost every hair color imaginable. I acctually have some [feathers] (http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Feathers-Extensions-Bunched-Together/dp/B0052G9LVG/ref=wl_it_dp_v_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=J9D0Y4Q0F8GG&coliid=I7KS4L93XYCMT) on my wish list! My friend used to work at a place in the mall where they put feathers in your hair. She put some in for me before and I loved it. So beautiful. I really hope I dont get attacked by a Zombie Monkey!

Awesome :D I do love the romantic goth style a lot but I also love punk, guess that's what all gives us our unique personal styles ;)

One huge thing I've come to embrace are hair extensions. They do wonders for us thin haired ladies. I don't always have the time or energy to do all the crimping and back combing up styles so I use clip in extensions a lot when I wanna just flop it over, since my hair is so thin it helps to bulk it up and add that extra needed volume ;)

Watch a few youtube videos to decide if you want a frontal, closure, or leave out. As for affordable hair, I've gotten some really good hair from Amazon. This hair has been consistent in quality for me for 2 years and the prices are good. They also have a body wave which I liked. Tbh its really hard to find a good frontal on there but this frontal was the only good one I've purchased from there.

I'm not familiar with closures but this one has a good number of positive reviews.

I would only recommend leave out if you get hair close to you real texture/pattern or if you're down to style your leave out every day

Hello! I have very short hair too, so I know how you feel. Personally, through having short hair, I’ve found a love for lace front human hair wigs. I can change the style/length/color every day with no damage to my hair. If wigs aren’t you’re thing, extensions are a woman’s best friend, and can help you not only wear it down long, but you can do space buns, ponytails, buns, braids, etc. I’d recommend clip in extensions like Sally Beauty’s “Euronext” extensions, very easy for someone to put in, and style.

My favorite wigs: Licoville Lace Front 613 Blonde Short Bob Wigs Human Hair 8inch Middle Part Straight Brazilian Hair Lace Front Wig 180% Density Pre Plucked Glueless Frontal Bob Cut https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F33N8GP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_x5NzDbZA0TS77

Extensions: Euronext Light Caramel Clip In Hair Extensions, 14 Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0062RJX5I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v6NzDbSXM6E7D

(Id recommend going in-store for extensions, since you have to color match)

Im so sorry you've got all that going on! And best wishes for your mom. I know things like that are hard...

  1. Found out yesterday that my grandmother (who is 85) has lung cancer, and it's inoperable.... Been kinda tough on the family.

  2. But to balance that (kind of), tomorrow is my birthday, so today I leave for a trip for a couple of days to escape reality.

  3. Life is ...fucking hard sometimes, but this too shall pass.

  4. I'd really like these hair feathers for $6.99, or you can surprise me!!! :)

Im sending happy thoughts your way!

I bought these for $9 on Amazon! I haven’t used them yet but they shipped fast, they’re super soft and they have over 2 thousand positive reviews! The color is really nice, but I’m not sure if you can dye them. Lots of options though.

So, my brother got a job right out of college in a position and field he did not study. He planned to just stay with it until something opened up in his chosen career track.

He is now the midwest regional manager of that company, getting promoted soley on his performance.

He was promoted from entry level desk job to supervisor in 3 months.

Have confidence. Your work speaks for you.

Good luck! I'll post a link in a few minutes.

I bought these and they were perfect. Matched my hair color perfectly, were cheap, curled well, felt good.

I TRADED SHIFTS WITH A FRIEND! I'LL HAVE HALLOWEEN OFF! I would've been working 3PM-Midnight!

I'm so excited!

...but I have no plans.

/

Awkward.

Hopefully I'll just be handing out candy and looking at kids costumes :) That sounds awesome to me. And then, later, start hiding in bushes and scaring the unsuspecting cuties. I love striking fear into peoples' hearts. <3

This is a weird thing to say, but this hair extension is for a Halloween costume I'm making. If you don't approve, I can link a better more Halloween item! :D It's in my 'Halloween + Cosplay Necessities"

Print and cut out a picture of Jay Cutler's head. Tape it to the bottom of his mouse over the laser thing.

Tell him you know how much he idolizes Clay Matthews and give him some blonde hair extensions. Optional: drug him and attach them while he's passed out. Note: may have side effects, including not being able to watch the game while in jail.

Record a sound file. The first few minutes should be silence, and then say "Go Bears!" in the mic, followed by a few minutes of silence, then do it again, rinse and repeat. After you've done this a few times, set this audio file as his Windows Startup sound (Google it, the process differs for each Windows version but it's very easy). When he turns on his computer everything will seem normal (well, his mouse won't work if you did step 1) but after a few minutes he'll get a nice little surprise. Works best if he has speakers plugged in.

Fart in a plastic bag. Sneak up behind him and, before he knows what's going on, open the bag right under his nostrils. Tell him you just came from the future where his team played like shit, and you brought him a taste.

The best hair extensions for how cheap they are. I’ve bought them multiple times and worn them for homecoming, for performances (i’m in musical theatre and show choir) and even just out for fun. They can be straightened and curled and omg they’re just amazing.
