Sorry to respond so late when this post is two weeks old, but I just found this sub.

The most versatile bag for me is definitely my Osprey Daylite. It's my everyday bag for work since it's small and light and easily holds my Macbook Pro, my headphones, and my 32 oz Nalgene bottle and has enough room for jacket + overnight stuff if necessary.

Yet it's got a great water bladder pocket (outside accessible so it's not in with all your other stuff) and holds the largest Camelbak reservoir. So, with its chest and waist straps it's also my hiking bag (been up 14-ers with the thing).

Because of the chest and waist straps, and the side compression straps that help it cinch down very small and hug your body, it's also my bag for biking (water bladder comes in handy here too) and motorcycling.

Also, I finally got a "real" travel bag (Tortuga Setout Divide) and I found that the Daylite easily packs flat within it, so now it's joining me on my trips as well.

I've added a few accessories to make it work better. 1. a water bladder hose magnet for the strap (not sure what brand, got it at REI, works great), 2. double-sided velcro strips to roll away the waist straps that aren't in-use most of the time. 3. just recently I got a Clipa bag holder so it hangs from my desk at work instead of being on the floor. For a while I was looking for a new small daily bag that would stand upright so I wouldn't have to just lay it on the ground at work, but now with the Clipa I love the Daylite even more.

I once saw this planner (or one really similar to it) on Pinterest and always thought it looked awesome: LifePlanner

I think this could make for a great gift because it is customizable- you can choose colors and styles that will make it more personal for your friend.

I would also get some nice pens and highlighters in multiple colors for color coding, and maybe other cute office supplies like binder clips. I love the office supply section at Target, Michaels, and TJ Maxx, so those might be great places to look!

Another idea could be a purse caddy/organizer similar to this one.

My final suggestion would be either an electronic label maker or a laminator . These may seem like strange gifts, but they are super practical for getting organized and keeping things tidy. My mother-in-law is insanely organized- she’s received both of these as gifts and loved them! The label maker I linked is on the pricier end, but they sell similar products for much less.

Good luck!

It sometimes seems like over-done advice, but read to them. My son LOVES learning new stuff, and one of the things that he learns from is books, even though he can't read himself. He can look at the pictures and tell me what's going on, or he can memorize parts of the book (he's got most of "Goodnight Moon" down pretty good, only he calls the little old lady "the hush lady"). He also just really likes when I spend time with him, and sometimes I'm tired, and brain-dead, and I have just no energy for anything, but he makes me feel better when he cuddles up next to me for a book.

Also, a busy-book for being out in public is handy. If you know how to sew, there are LOTS of busy-book ideas on the Internet, but you can throw together a really quick one in an old wallet or pocketbook. Include photos (I like having photos of family), different sorts of texture (like fabric swatches, scrapbook paper, etc), and activity stuff. One of Gizmo's favorites when he was young was a lock. Attach the key and the lock to the pocketbook with some string so he doesn't lose it, and he'd have a blast just locking and unlocking it. You can do a tone of stuff for a pocketbook busy-book.

Not necessarily AB per se... but it stores all my AB goodness when I travel! amz link This contraption is awesome. So many little pockets and compartments to store my decant spray bottles and jars. Zipper is perfect for storing sheet masks too. I'll have to share a pic of mine later when I get home so y'all can see what I'm talking about. 😁

Are you looking for a base shaper or organizer? A base shaper will help prevent sagging, but LV does not recommend this though I still use one and love it. It just gives your bag structure (it's like a bra for your bag, I hate sagging!) Make sure you get one covered in leather and that has rounded corners to prevent tearing. There is a review here from a popular TPF'er on base shapers. An organizer helps you organize your goodies...I love Samorga but they can get pricey...I just discovered this one it has lots of color choices and a version with a handle AND if you buy 3 you get 20% off.

So, often if you click on the stores selling the items you can find more cheap items like that. It's usually Chinese wholesale stores, much like AliExpress. Here's one of the cheapiest items I've found that seems good quality. But if you follow through to the store that sell that, you can find these cute little mushrooms, these little rhinestones for nail art, and these cute fake flowers all for less than $2 with free shipping. You just have to dig! It's fun because I love just "browser" shopping.

I love a bag organizer . For my bigger bags like Neverfull, speedy, and delightful I have a Bag shaper. And use an organizer
However, I do not like the felt ones with all of the little compartments. I feel like it’s still too easy for me to lose everything I used a bigger type organizer like

They have different colors and sizes. I also use a lot of SLG. I have two wallets, a change bag, make up bag, additional Credit card holder, and my planner’s. SLG fit nicely in the large organizer and I am able to keep water or coffee cups in there.

I have a dark blue Michael Kors that look pretty similar to the the bag you linked. It is a bit bigger so I use it for work to lug around the regular stuff (toiletries, cables, power banks, umbrella, water bottle, money, phone, etc) it has some pockets on the inner linning sides and the back which is the exact size of my phone, and the perfect size bottom for [a purse organizer. ] (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00SCYXSL4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_YgDJBbN1Q9870) So I am able to have stuff standing up for easier access. My main issue is it is too big to wear as a crossbody and the handles are only for well hands, so I can't easily sling it over my shoulder.

I have a smaller generic leather fossil crossbody flap bag for regular errands. But it is too small to carry anything beyond car keys, phone, and a decent size wallet or basic toiletries and some credit cards.

My current goal is to find a bag that is a good mix between the 2.

So far I am thinking of finding a higher end dupe for [this backpack purse, because the shoulder strap is wide enough to slung over my shoulder and the back pack straps will help distribute the weight. Plus it kind of reminds me of Japanese school bags. ] (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B076Q8TYVC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_hjDJBb3C8Y2P6)

Yes, but it is BIG. Like beach tote big. It makes an obnoxious statement.
Of course, I still like the MM version plenty, it's a big bag too! I LIKE BIG BAGS, I CANNOT LIE.
But I'd say, if you have the MM and are thinking, "I could go bigger..." then go for it!! However keep in mind that
A.) I look redic and B.) I really value efficiency. The versatility of a purse/gym bag/ grocery bag is hard to beat in my book!

I don't have the actual link bc I ordered it so long ago but this one looks really similar! In fact, I might get one myself!

I have a Lihit Lab pencil case which I love, it holds a lot! I've been trying to find a storage solution as well since everything doesn't fit in that pencil case. I did a search for purse organizer inserts on Amazon and I think I'm going to get one of those.

This one is pretty cheap and seems to have tons of pockets in it! Some of them have handles on them, too, which would make it easier to lug them around. Or, you could buy a tote and pop that inside!

u/repLadiesAddict · 28 pointsr/RepLadies

I keep my wardrobe fairly neutral and do great shoes and bags to spice it up. And yes, skulls are a neutral because I say they are.

I have cashmere sweaters in camel, gray, black, leopard, and skulls

I have fisherman sweaters in black, white, and skulls (alexander mcqueen).

Then I have TB "cashmere" hoodies in black, gray, and camel.

Turtlenecks from the same TB cashmere store in black and gray.

I layer my pullover sweaters with Uniqlo heattech shirts.

Then skinnies in blue and black, 2 each. That is basically enough to make infinite outfits that pair with infinite bags, booties, and sneaks.

If you're interested in a purse hook I have this one and it's great, it never slips off a table or something and you can hook it on a railing.

u/qqpugla · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

don't go talking too loud you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

  1. $25

  2. $10

  3. $5

My vote is for four people for $5 because even the smallest gift can brighten your day, and it's better for four people's days to be brightened!
u/delightness · 3 pointsr/RepLadies

I use a base shaper for my bag link here. I use it for my Goyard Anjou PM. I personally use it because it helps my bag maintain its shape and gives it a solid foundation/organizes my bag so it’s not a hot mess. 😂

Amazon has lots of bag organizers. Literally just type in “bag organizer for ____” and there are so many results that are cheap and even better — they’re prime!!!

u/SnarkyLalaith · 5 pointsr/SarahSnark

Oh, I love this thing. It is ugly - no doubt about that.

Link to organizer

The two zipper pockets can hold what I would put in a make up bag, The middle section fits my wallet and glasses case. And the little side pockets are perfect for dropping in my keys, or my commuter card, my headphones, my phone, etc. This way I never have to search, or track multiple bags. But I don't have kids, so don't need a wet bag.

With the felt bag, the pockets were too stiff and narrow, and while it had a compartment that I thought would be helpful (easy to grab the hand lotion, for example) it didn't go all the way down. I would find my keys would had shifted, etc. It looks better in my bag, and helps give a little more support to the bottom so it doesn't sag. But it isn't as useful as my nylon beast of burden.

I just got this purse from Timbuk2 a couple of months ago, and I love it! It fits all of my stuff in a little purse organizer, and the front pocket fits my sunglasses/prescription glasses in a hard-bodied case. Plus the colors are cute :) They also have these, which are fully customizable.

u/Lovemyreps · 2 pointsr/RepLadies

I got this from amazon and I love it. The inner division part came out and they actually sent me a new one, but the same thing happened within a few weeks. I’m sure if I wasn’t lazy, I could reinforce the Velcro where it holds it into the rest of the organizer. But as it stands, I’ve been using it without the inner piece and it still has plenty of divisions and pockets to hold all my things in a separate compartment.
The large size fits an MM perfectly.

I think most people tend to like the felt purse organizers because they're sturdy and keep the bags shape well! The ones on amazon are quite popular here! link

Longchamp Large Le Pliage tote in black. Everyone in Seattle carries this bag but I don't mind. It's water resistant and has a zipper. It carries everything I need and there's plenty of room in case I go shopping during my lunch break. I always have the following:

  • Nalgene water bottle
  • card case (I use this as my wallet)
  • lip balm, Lancome juicy shakers, mirror, brow brush
  • tissues, pantiliners
  • sunglasses
  • iPhone, iPhone charger, headphones
  • calendar (I know, I know, I still use a physical calendar)
  • keys
  • pen

All my stuff is organized into something like this. Even with the purse organizer, there is plenty of room for any lunches I bring to work as well as an extra pair of shoes. Depending on what jacket I leave the house with, I can usually stuff it inside if I don't want to wear it.

Not the most interesting setup, but it works and makes life easier for me.

I think I just solved this for myself. I had a DIY number that was just too bulky and not multi-purpose. So I ordered this diaperbag and I'm going to put this domke insert and this ladies purse organizer in it. It should hold everything I need, plus be very "don't steal me" plus make sense because I am a mom and it makes sense for me to carry a diaper bag looking bag. It should hold my gripped d7000 with 50mm, 17-50mm and 70-200 in extra pockets, flash, extras, and have room for my lady essentials.

It took me a little while to sort it out, but I feel happy with this setup so far. I think I will end up adding a shoulder sling strap, but so far that's all.

u/LapOfLuxe · 2 pointsr/RepLadies

It's a felt organizer from Amazon! I already had this beige color to use in other similar sized totes. And I just ordered another one in red to go in the Ebene with red lining, too. The "large" size fits the MM perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711GS9WV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_qmfMBbXADV6BZ

You can buy a little hook that you carry with you. Super convenient to have .

u/coffeencats · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I got something like this. As long as you check the size before purchasing nearly any of the felt ones should do the job. The nylon ones just don't work as well imo

u/ms23789 · 2 pointsr/bulletjournal

I recently got this pouch from Muji and it fits Tombows! If you want more pockets, I’m in some of the bujo Facebook groups and some people there have raved about purse organizers as a supply holder (like this kind of thing, for example).
