I use it on the very corners of my hairline and it kind of creates a shadow. Frankly, it's kind of like a paint but once it settles it really stays there. I don't use a ton of it, just a little spritz on the corners of my hairline and it blends into my natural hair. I feel like there probably could be better sprays that look a little less "painty" out there, but this really does the job for me and is pretty much undetectable with my hair (even to me, unless I pull up my hairline purposefully to look at it).

Then I sprinkle toppik on my forelock and corners. I don't see any residue at all on my pillows/sheets (which are white). I do see residue when I shower though, so be careful to clean your bathtub. The spray and toppik wash out easily with shampoo, and are pretty resistant to just putting water on my hand and running my hand through my hair. Shampoo is really what removes it.

You look like an older, slightly worn Prince Henry. Stay out of the sun for one thing because it isn't helping and trying to get color means looking like a lobster. If you want to darken your brows easily, go to the beauty store and buy yourself a color touch up stick. This is super easy and inexpensive and they do a great job of adding a little color. It washes out so you can't mess up.

Hi! So to achieve a natural looking ginger color I first think of temporary hair color sprays. The authentic red color, however is very uncommon in temporary hair sprays and paints because they are usually marketed for crazy costumes (ie. having neon hair). The best option I can think of for you would be a product that is used to cover up grey roots. These can be found anywhere that carry any type of hair product (Target, Walmart, Rite-aid, CVS, etc. the list goes on). There is one in particular that is more ginger than anything that I think would work best for you, made by L'Oreal: "L'Oreal Paris Magic Root Cover Up" in the color "Red". My friend had been looking for something she could color her eyebrows with, without bleaching and dying, to match her semi-permanent hair color (the ginger color that I believe you are describing). For this she sprayed a bit of the color on a paper towel(sometimes using a sponge) and dabbed it over her naturally dark eyebrows. I also helped her the first time, and recommended that she spray a bit of normal hairspray over the color to avoid any smudging and it worked wonders. It stayed for at least a full 8-10 hours if not more, even through sweat and humidity.

I lost a ton of hair a while ago to chemo. Both my doctor and my hair stylist advised me to get a shorter haircut to help disguise the thin-ness. I got it cut above my shoulders, which definitely helped.

Also, I bought hair fill-in powder and literally painted over the parts of my scalp you could see through my thinning hair. It was really astounding how much thicker my hair looked once the shiny white scalp was covered.

One thing that was always surprising to me was that no one really noticed how thin my hair got. Sure, someone who really knew me and my hair (my mother, sister, stylist) could tell. But with my hair up and my scalp camouflaged it wasn't as obvious to the rest of the world as it was to me.

I would use a brush-in thickening powder like this while using a masculine eyebrow stencil, or else just buy a decent natural look mascara and brush it through your existing eyebrows to adhere to the hair that’s already there and help them look less patchy.

There's hair chalk and colored hair sprays and hair mascara and colored hair gels that come in white/gray. They all have their own problems, but since you're not going for pure white hair/beard, something along those lines would probably work.

Feel free to think me a horrible person, but I went ahead and used my normal dye.

I feel like there are several things that people worry about that really aren't that big of a concern. I'm counting hair dye as one of them. I may stretch it out a bit with some root cover spray, but I'm not convinced that having a chemical on my head for 30 minutes that doesn't hurt me will somehow seep through and get to my uterus and damage my well insulated baby.
