This dress is really, really cute on. It's $25. I wear it with or without a belt. It's shrunk a little in the wash, but held up surprisingly well.

This dress is $14 and really cute on. However, I'd be careful with this one as the bust area seems to either not fit a lot of women or gap open too widely. For work, I have to pin the wrap and bust. I've gotten so many compliments on this dress though, and it's really comfortable.

These heels are not exactly what I purchased (they don't have that item anymore), but they're the same brand and color. The ones I bought had a higher heel. They've held up really well for cheap shoes (I usually stay away from low-end shoes) and I've gotten so many compliments on them. They've gotten a little dirty because of the color but that's normal for light colored shoes. They're really comfortable and I wear them everywhere.

I usually avoid buying new clothes-- I'm a big fan of thrifting because it's more environmentally friendly, more fun, and I can find better build quality for a lower price. However, Amazon satisfies my fast-fashion cravings pretty well for a fraction of the price. Because I live where it's warm all the time, the thinner/breezier material of less expensive clothes actually works out pretty well.

Great suggestions. To add onto this list, a good chastity device and a good hair removal method are some high-priority starter purchases IMO. I'd also recommend picking up heels so you can start learning how to walk in them.

For me if I had to pick beyond "buttplug and dildo" - which it sounds like OP already has - I'd suggest the following along with included Amazon links, assuming that you already have some form of hair removal that you're happy with:

  • 1 pack of decent panties. I like thongs personally, but to each her own as long as they help you throw away your boy underwear.
  • 1 pair of heels so, as mentioned above, you can start learning how to walk in them. I bought these bad girls and I love them! They also come all the way up to size 13 if you have gigantic feet like me.
  • A couple pairs of stockings, especially in a pack or in a set with a garter belt. Some garter sets (like this one) also come with stockings and/or a g-string for added value. Stockings will inevitably wear out in time or get worn out in other ways, so don't be afraid to pick up a cheap-ish pack for now.
  • A good enema bulb to clean yourself out for playtime is worth its weight in gold. I picked up this one on the cheap
and definitely recommend it. Just remember not to use too much water while cleaning...follow the guide at https://howtocleanyourass.wordpress.com/ if you're unsure!
  • Finally, you have to have a chastity device as a sissy to keep your clitty nice and limp. You can go crazy with all kinds of different varieties and materials, but you probably want something cute and pink to start with. I bought a FeiGu cage to start with and it's worked pretty well for shorter play sessions, but I've found the lock on top to get extremely annoying for day-long wear. You might have more luck with the sort of lock style that the Holy Trainer uses instead.

Hope this helps and have fun gurl ;)

Hello, fellow MN and fellow size 10 shoe bride!

This pair has been on my amazon list for quite some time. I think they're elegant and adorable!

Since you're a summer bride, how do you feel about sandals? Here is a really cute pair (comes in our size in gold and silver).

These are super cute but they have a tiny kitten heel. Not sure how you feel about that.

Here is a pair of some pretty blingy ones. Not sure if they go with your dress, but... sparkles!!! :)

One last pair, I hope you enjoy some of these! I think they're all super cute but I didn't read all the reviews so do some research. Don't count out amazon! Good luck!

EDIT: I am so sorry, I totally missed the color suggestions. I am so sorry. There are some better suggestions in here than mine! So sorry!!!

I have these Frye block heel sandals that literally go with everything. They're casual enough to not look too fancy with jeans, but nice enough to go dressier, and the heel is low enough to be super comfortable.

Agree with you about the booties. They're great for that borderline casual/nice line. I have a pair of kitten Rockstuds that look amazing with jeans, too, but honestly I usually save those for bigger events because I love them and worry too much about ruining them. I feel like shoes with some sort of interest always look good with more casual outfits and look more purposeful than basic black pumps.

Hi! I’m hoping maybe someone can help me out and give me some suggestions. I’m going to a wedding in mid October and I was thinking of wearing this maxi dress with these strappy shoes but I want something to cover up with because it will probably get chilly. The wedding isn’t particularly formal and is set in a barn with a rustic feel.

I’m not very glitzy or glam and I’m not a huge fan of super bright colors. My daily style is pretty relaxed, and fashionably cozy (think chunky knit baggy cardigans, knotted tees, cuffed jeans, and keds or loafers). I prefer more earthy/neutral/dusty/muted colors when it comes to my clothes.

I’m also open to wearing something else entirely but I already own the shoes and the dress and most of my other dresses are pretty summery. I have the same dress in heather gray but I worry that may be a little too casual looking.

If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. thank you! 🖤

That style makes me think of Stuart Weitzman shoes (specifically this one, but there's others that are similar). I do not have personal experience with Stuart Weitzman shoes, but I've heard excellent reviews of both durability and comfort. That said, the people I've heard it from have been into heels, not comfort shoes, so I expect them to feel like more stable and less fatiguing heels, not anything cushy or supportive. The price is supposed to match the longevity and craftsmanship, however, so you're talking ~$400.

I recommend trying on this sort of shoe at Nordstrom (which should have the higher quality brands that make this sort of sleek style), or use Zappos's free shipping and returns.

The style you need to wear is actually a pretty decent one for standing for a while, for someone who is able to wear heels. The ankle strap provides a lot of stability and doesn't put nearly as much pressure on the ball of your foot as pumps would, and the blockiness of the heel makes it way easier to walk in. And the risk of the heel breaking is quite low.

I also found a model each from Naturalizer and from Clarks. Both are reputable comfort brands, and I'd expect good longevity and comfort. Once again, you're wearing heels, not anything actually comfortable, but with the ankle strap, chunky heel, and decent construction, you should have able to move unhindered. I've run in Clarks heels more than is strictly reasonable, and never felt unstable or in more pain than expected. And they held up to four years of one day a week abuse of that sort, and still looked great at the end of that. You can also try Sam Edelman, which I've heard good things about, but I've always found Clarks far, far more comfortable than Sam Edelman.

Wow. I wish that's all I had to do to my hair. I look like Madonna circa 1988 without spending at least an hour on it so it stays in a bun most days.

Just looked in my Amazon cart / previous purchases and found a few shoes that I love... In case you want to take a peek.

Leopard stilettos - I have these and LOVE them! I had a pair of $300 Stuart Weitzman ones that I wore to the ground and got these as a replacement. A fraction of the cost and they are actually comfortable.

Ankle strap - Haven't purchased these yet because I can't decide which color I want. I love the black with the silver and the gold ones.

Jessica Simpson Ankle Strap - LOVE THESE SHOES! Casual enough to wear with jeans and a cute top but dressy enough to wear with any LBD and look fabulous. Plus, the price point is amazing for JS shoes.

Help me find a dress and shoes for an engagement shoot?

I was thinking of doing something like this or this, ie. an about knee-length dress with a denim jacket.

Ideal dress colors: brown, gold, olive, or red. I think the style that suits me best is something a bit like this, sleeves optional (basically fit and flare dresses with a wide waistband and a full flowy skirt). I wear XS and have a pear figure (or hourglass if shoulders count).

My budget is max $150 (ideally for something I could use for other occasions).

This color makes me happy but it's the wrong shape and over budget. I like this fabric but it's too low cut and the waistline is too high. There's something about this dress that is really neat.

Shoes: feeling clueless here. The style of these caught my eye but they don't have great reviews. Something like this? I own these already but I don't really know how they'd work with a dress. I don't own any heeled sandals or what I think of as going-out shoes so if I can end up with something like that it would be super useful beyond this particular event. I've also been on the lookout for calf-height boots that don't look clunky, which might also work for this.

I hope this isn't too ridiculously all over the place. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Completely depends on your style and the graduation venue and what your plans are after! When I graduated high school, for instance, our gowns were white, so we were required to wear solid white dresses underneath so nothing weird showed through. I don't know what your definition of "cute" would be; do you have some inspo pics or descriptive words for how you'd like to look?

As for heels, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have time to practice. Nobody wants to be that girl who fell onstage while going across for her diploma! But my usual advice for making heels as easy as possible is this:

  • Get the right height. I'm constantly posting this tip here, but you know the angle that your feet dangle at when you're on a too-tall chair? That's the height of heel that's going to be easiest for you to wear. (So the person who posted that probably has a higher natural angle to her foot.) Since I realized that, I wear heels and regularly forget that I'm even wearing them.
  • If you want to go higher, platforms help make up the difference because it mitigates the angle of your feet.
  • Anything that helps keep your feet in the shoe (straps, booties, etc) makes it easier because it removes the variable of holding the damn things on with your toes, which causes fatigue.
  • Thicker heels are easier to wear than stilettos. Block heels or wedges are generally more beginner-friendly (and better for outdoor venues).
  • If you're getting rubbed by seams, moleskin is a LIFESAVER. I have a pair of sandals that fit all the criteria above, but left me bleeding several times. I added moleskin to the insides; now I have no issue with them.
  • Don't underestimate the cushioning power of insoles, especially for the balls of the feet.

I'd sit down and figure out your budget before doing any research on anything. Do you know how much money you have to allot toward things?

Plus, I wonder where you are looking. The "cheapest options" for a wedding dress, assuming that you are defining "wedding dress" as " a "formal white dress' can be pretty cheap. For instance, here's a trumpet dress on Amazon that gets great reviews and is under $50. You could glam it up with a wedding sash for $16, a veil for $20, and white heels for $30.

So that's basically an entire ensemble for a bit over $100. And all of those items get good reviews.

I mean, yes, it would be nice to have the cash flow that would allow you to buy a $10k dress, but most of us don't have that. And if you don't have $1000 on hand for a dress, that's OK, too. There are other options, and they can still be beautiful.

Ooh trust me I am happy to share!!! :) My shoes are glittery and might not match your overall forest setting by the lake aesthetic (which I LOVE btw) but here they are!! I got them in silver because my dress is the all ivory version. I like the nice wide heel because my ceremony and dinner will be on grass :)

u/notallthatglitters · 5 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Help me overhaul my shoe wardrobe for spring/summer! I'm 25, in a professional job where I dress what I'd call polished casual. Up until now, my summer shoes have been flat strappy sandals and ballet flats, but I want to update my shoes to be a little more sophisticated without seeming too "old". Ideally, I want shoes that can wear to work and on dates etc. I bought two pairs of Frye sandals- the
"Carol" wedges in black, and I like them, but wonder if they're too "old" looking, and also the "Skye belt" heels in cognac. However, I'm lusting after these Madewell "Sylvain" heels.

I made a (very hurried and low quality, but hey, it's better than nothing) album of both pairs I bought with some typical outfits to give a sense of my style. Album

What do you guys think? Should I keep what I have or do I go for the Madewell heels? (which are on sale through today). Do the brown sandals have a dated looking heel? Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar style/quality shoe to the brown sandals? or a suggestion for a different black pair? (price limit <$200/pair).

u/iamachubbypuppy · 5 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Okay, I'm stumped.

The common problem with heels is comfort, but blisters? Ouch. TBH a couple flats are not comfortable at all to me because they have stiff leather near the ankle. I helped fix this by adding some [Superfeet insoles] (http://www.superfeet.com/) that raised my feet up so that the shoe did not touch the sensitive part of my back ankles. Dunno if that will help you.

I just wonder if we need to look at your shoes. Maybe a wider toe box will help if the sides of your toes are being hurt? I just finished the interview circuit and I bought these ['comfort' pumps] (http://www.payless.com/womens-tressa-pump/74255.html?dwvar_74255_color=black#start=25) that are not fashionable but were a life saver.

Have you tried espadrille wedges with ribbons around the ankle? That way nothing hard will rub against your ankles. Like [these] (http://www.amazon.com/VISCATA-Escala-Ankle-Tie-Classic-Espadrilles/dp/B003W6426W/ref=pd_sbs_shoe_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=17FATD8JHTBC3855PJEC).

I wear the Kork Ease [Stina] (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/kork-ease-stina-leather-bootie-women/3809490?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Vapor+Grey&resultback=632.2222&cm_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_1_D) barefoot a lot.

I have a couple Dansko Mary Janes...and while I thought they were totally not going to be cute they're just all around comfortable and get a surprising amount of compliments. The [Sam] (http://www.6pm.com/dansko-sam) and [Thea] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DXNJJ8/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687762&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B005DVIFAI&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0DDK41TM7KB2PWM2H56H) are my go-tos. I thought the leather would hurt but its so thin and soft it doesn't. Good luck!

Nice, I would stay away from a necklace, just some long simple earrings like these:

https://www.pinterest.ie/pin/489696159462053001/

and a black pair of those little fluffy shoes would look nice like these ones:

https://www.amazon.com/MMJULY-Womens-Fluffy-Feather-Stiletto/dp/B071NQF37M

It reminds me of Jessica rabbit so that kinda hair would be really nice, like this kind of wave:

And for make up a classic brown smokey eye and liquid eyeliner flick like this:
