They're not cheap but I finally found some work pants that fit well AND last:

He said it's a 40 or 50 year old shooting jacket. I'll confess to going to Amazon and looking for shooting jackets. Beretta has a nice one, but it's expensive. Well, I think it's expensive.

I am out in the field digging several times a week. I have found these pants to be extremely durable for some rough conditions I dig in, they are teflon infused which helps with water resistance and stains, they are rip stop and can hold up well to thorns, rocks, barb wire fencing. They are light weight and have tons of cargo pockets and, a must for me, zippered pockets. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VTJYYRV/ref=twister_B06VTBPWPJ

Over the boot insulators that you put on once your in the stand. Once you put these on, drop some hand warmers into the boots insulators (on the outside of the boot). Boom! Done.

Ah, Call of Chernobyl, I missed that. My bad, I've been out of the STALKER modding community for a while. Okay, so I'll respond to both comments here:

-Unfortunately, airsoft versions of the Val are few and far between. Now, what confuses me is your comment about 'only if it has a wooden stock'. The Val never has a wooden stock, it has a side-folding skeleton stock. However, the VSS, which is basically the same rifle, has a wooden fixed skeleton thumbhole stock. It sounds like what you're looking for is a VSS rather than a Val, and if so you're in luck because there are airsoft VSSes on the market. Please correct me if I'm missing something.

-Amazon, surprisingly, has a (limited) selection of Russian gear. I got my Gorka from there, and they also have SMERSH rigs.

-Gas masks are something I've looked into extensively. The answer is to not use a gas mask, but rather get a respirator that looks the part and meshes well with regular goggles. Paint respirators that you'd find at a hardware store tend to be recognizable as such, but there are very cheap ones available through eBay or Amazon that look a little more generic. Pull out the right filter (or left, if you shoot lefty) and then you get face protection and gas mask look without it restricting your breathing.

Not sure why the image is so weird on the first one but something like this or this

Honestly though I've been looking into just getting a wool blanket or something to wrap around my feet/legs.

I was also skeptical about bike shorts and now I love them. I wear them so much that I've been washing them about three times a week. Here are the ones I use, they are about $20.ea : http://www.amazon.com/Canari-Cyclewear-Womens-Padded-Cycling/dp/B001K50ZSG/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1406746849&sr=8-6&keywords=canari+bike+shorts

Oh yeah there's no way someone would be wearing a long sleeved shirt like that in this weather. And looking at it again it actually looks more like an oversized flannel coat. Something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Legendary-Whitetails-Outdoorsman-Buffalo-Jacket/dp/B00C2XVOTY?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_3

And you would die if you wore that with this heat outside. And if it was a real person I think you would have more detail on the face and he wouldn't be so see through.

u/accretious · 2 pointsr/DumpsterDiving

I actually use one of these http://www.amazon.com/Panther-Vision-CUB3-278077-Bright-Lighted/dp/B00359ZQ0M The lights are built into the brim. Makes things a little more concealed and natural looking.

Im thinking something like this ya know for outdoor activities

I did read the description. I've never heard of the brand, and they're making something out of polycotton, so I was trying to say that you could get something from a more reputable brand in a better fabric for your money. But since you want something similar, here's a few minutes of searching from me. All prices are US because that's where I am, but I worked with a 140 USD budget which is about 130 euros.

This is very similar to the jacket you linked, for roughly 40 euros less:

If you're willing to go softshell these are also cheaper:

There's also this Nike jacket which could probably be found in other sizes for around 100 euros
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nike-Internationalist-Windrunner-Jacket-L-802371-010-/292074053790

and this Adidas jacket which was reviewed here yesterday at half of what you're looking to pay:

or

There's even these H&M jackets for much cheaper that would approximate the aesthetic you're going for

Hear me out--

5.11 ripstop pants. Super comfy, supposedly really durable.

Most have cargo pockets, which you won't want with shirts and ties, but there's one model that doesn't.

Layers man. I got waterproof jacket and pants from Midway for $75 on sale. Get the poly base layer for under $20 and layer up.. Sitka stuff is real good it seems, but not worth the money IMO when you can layer. I use this and it's lasted 2 seasons to date. Going on my 3rd now. Had deer stare right at me and not spook.

I pieced together something similar, but the jacket isn’t an exact match. Although I seem to remember someone posting a link to the exact jacket here a while ago.

These were the patches I used.

This jacket is similar if not identical to the one I used, it isn’t an exact match to the one on the show, but it’s extremely close.

Edit: after a quick search, I was able to find the exact jacket

For mine I opted for a jacket that had Velcro so I could make the patches removable.

I may ship one of these to the White House for him.
