Hey! I know the feeling, I dealt with pretty much the exact same thing freshman year of college. I was in the process of getting diagnosed at the time, and so had the opportunity to discuss this with the OT person I was sent to for a session after diagnosis. She suggested two things: first, using gel pens instead of ball point pens, as they create less resistance, so your hands won't have to work as hard; second, she suggested using this insulation as a grip on the pens (cut to size for the pens). It is far bigger/squishier than anything designed to be a pen grip. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it does help. Since then, I have found that these pens are amazing. Again, it takes some getting used to, and changing the way you write, but it's worth it. I have also found a method of KT taping my hands that is really helpful for support on especially bad days. If you are interested, let me know and I can ask my (much more tech-savvy partner) to help me send/link photos via reddit. I absolutely second everything everyone else has said here about getting official accommodations, and then using a laptop to take notes, or have notes taken by another member of the class. I had official accommodations in college for this reason, as well, and they were a life-saver. I generally worked out with the instructor whether I was going to use my laptop, have notes taken for me, or both, and how tests would work. Hopefully my suggestions above will help until you can go through the formal process, and for situations where writing is a must.

It is not a high quality machine, but the accessories look ok for 180 bucks.
Brass threads, etc.

Do yourself a favour and get some of this to wrap around the hose.

Or see if you can scab a metre or two from a hydraulic hose supplier just for the bit of hose closest to the machine where it rests on the ground.

Speargun tubing is good stuff. We used zip ties wrapped in soaker hose.

You can buy heat shrink tubing in long thin lengths. It is made to be insulation and is fairly flexible. If you want a more flexible tubing maybe try silicone tubing? I can't open your picture (because of the network I'm on). Why not just replace the wires with new?

Here's tubing on Amazon UK.

Stoppers. No holes, but you can buy a hole-cutter for stoppers (or make a jig to hold it and just drill a hole). You might be able to find some with holes if you look around some more.

Pyrex/borosilicate tube should be pretty easy to find as well. Usually you buy long pieces and cut and bend as needed.

Just in case there are US readers, I got these for this kind of old-school stuff:

I bought stoppers with holes and glass tube, and gum rubber tubing with no problem. That's thick-wall tube for use with vacuum, see the related products for cheaper thin-wall tubing.

when the silicone tip starts to break down grab some 2mm id silicone tubing and you'll have as many replacement tips as you want. I use this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012T3HAG2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but any kinda silicone tubing will do

This is what I have, grabbed it as straw material originally.

White SiliconeTubing, 3/16"ID, 1/4"OD, 1/32" Wall, 10' Length https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FN1FLA/

It doesn't fit like a tip, too small, but it is thin enough to stretch around quite a few tips. Sorry I don't have a caliper on me right now.

Nah, I left the outlet alone since I can use the Mini's cap as a shut off valve when I'm done filling the bottle. That way I can leave the bladder hanging until I need a refill, although piece of silicone tubing and a pinch valve wouldn't really add any weight. I like the gadget Tinny came up with though, it's yet another example of the crazy things people come up in this hobby.

/edit-you know, using a Tinny cap on the dirty bladder side instead of the platy cap would eliminate the 90 degree elbow....better...

If anyone's wondering where I got the tubing, I bought a 10 foot piece off of Amazon a year ago for another project, it's more flexible and lighter than the vinyl tubing usually used on water bladders. You can even boil it to sterilize it.
