Always handle everything over paper.

Legal paper is nice because it's long. You can't beat 500 'sorting tables' for $14.

Roll it into a tube and tap when you're done. Packing, sorting, cutting, grinding all over a piece of paper because:

  1. It's easy to see.

  2. It's easy to put back where it belongs.

If you mount the figures on bases with rims, you can freehand paint a name on it, print a decal of the name and stick it on, or order a custom printed nameplate that you can glue on.

Freehand painting is obviously the cheapest option, but decals might be the best compromise between cost and quality. Unless you want to practice painting letters for a couple months, that is.

As for painting a horde: Best practices are to do a manageable number of figures at once, usually five to ten. Plan your color scheme in advance and keep it simple, usually two to three colors with a wash for shading and dry brush for highlights. Switch poses or creature types between batches to avoid boredom. You won't win awards for it, but you can plow through masses of figures in a matter of weeks.

Hey thanks for replying! So I’ve tried about 3 vinyl paper in which all three harbor the same results, “Cricut Vinyl Paper”, PPD Inkjet Glossy Creative Vinyl Stickers , and Neato Blank White Full Sheet Printable Labels .
I’ve tried 2 laminates, XFasten and StyleTech

All can be found on amazon

I found some magnetic backed photo paper lying around the house and took some hardware logos and made them fit into a round circle in Photoshop and printed it onto the photo paper then cut them out and threw them onto the case hoping it would stick on the first throw 😁

Also perhaps you could try these https://www.amazon.com/KODAK-Magnetic-Photo-Paper-backed/dp/B01MXLUTNO

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001EHA6QG/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_229_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=EWRE4VJXN8ZDPSEKSSWW&dpPl=1&dpID=81R%2BDYx6b6L

I don't really use Amazon as it only just launched in Australia and they are more expensive than other places atm but for all you US PC gamers this might be helpful

When I was in college, we used transparent media to print our presentation slides on inkjet printer. Then, we used a overhead proyector.

Maybe something like this
OHP Film Overhead Projector Film - 8.5x11" for Inkjet Printer only Transparency Film 20 Sheets Uinkit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078QYKNKG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_h.lGDbEMFBK31

Or google inkjet transparent film.
There are clear and milky versions of those sheets

Inkjet printers perform best with inkjet paper. The problem is not your inks, or the software, or the settings - it's the paper. Can you link the papers you have already purchased on Amazon?

Have you tried any of these?

You can now buy waterproof paper:

I'm planning on grabbing a pack and trying it with Ordnance Survey's Get A Map service. Should save me the weight of a full OS map.

A-sub is really good

Its printable, clear, adhesive vinyl:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004JZYXXW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Its a bit pricey, though. If anyone knows of other materials/methods for decals, give a shout.

Idk they ship to overseas but these are general products. I think it's nothing different as you can buy at Staples.

For my reusables I use this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HWI9IKG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Cut with an exacto.

The most use I've gotten out of a stencil was 16.

Made shirts for our beer league softball team.

Semi-intricate, just was careful peeling it off each time. And they all came out nearly identical.
