There are many stands that avoid pad contact and just have a top contact area, like this one. I use a similar design.

I use the Avantree Solid Steel Headphone Stand.
Initially the raised lips were leaving a small mark/crease on the leather/headband so I used some mounting tape + felt to 'even' the holder out. No issues now, sturdy and takes up minimal space.

I mean, put the 280 on the omega stand if you want. I don't think it'll make that big of a difference, and worse comes worst, you can always replace the earpads.

There are stands/hangers that don't place a lot of stress on the headband pads though. I use these at work for instance:

Just wanted to let people know that the Avantree headphone stand will be on sale today on Amazon.

It's a pretty damn good headphone stand and should be around $27. Its not worth a full post but I have seen a few people asking about a good headphone stand and this one is pretty good for the price. Headphone Stand

It's not a bad headphone stand, the only issue is that it looks a little misleading. The bottom isn't solid aluminum (or whatever metal it's made of), it's like a piece of straight aluminum that's bent if you can picture that, then the bottom silicone piece sits on top of the bottom "foot".

It's just not as sturdy as it appears to be in pics, but still def worth it.

for the keyboard, you can get the Anne pro 2 or the Drevo Blademaster pro (Both can be used wired and wireless) and if your ok using Romer-G switch and no RGB the Logitech G613 is great (feels like brown switches). If you want a good headphone stand here are a couple of suggestions
