Yup. the 1050 has a DP, HDMI, and DVI port.
Get one of these so you can run hdmi to DP to plug into the 1050.
Note: SCART is hopelessly outdated and will not, even if you got an adapter, provide any usable image quality for a PC.
If your PC has DVI, a DVI -> HDMI (male DVI, female HDMI) adapter will work.
If it has Displayport, a Displayport -> HDMI (male Displayport, female HDMI) adapter will also work.
You might also find straight DVI-HDMI and Displayport-HDMI cables. If so they both need to be male. Note that the Displayport one must go FROM Displayport TO HDMI.

as examples of either.
Actually, I've got surround sound showing up just fine via a Displayport adapter.
I'm using this guy here:
https://amzn.com/B005H3I38Q
Now, unfortunately, it's not a good workaround, as it only supports 1080p; I'm actually only using it for audio, so I end up having to mirror my display, which kind of defeats the purpose because it then limits both displays to 1080p.

You need an adapter or a cable. I suppose your card is like this, there is a direct HDMI output, use that to connect one of your monitors, and then buy and adapter or cable from DVI to HDMI, or DisplayPort to HDMI cable or adapter, whatever is cheaper or in your store.
Or something like this...
http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1456804517&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=hdmi+dispolay+port+adaptor
I would get a Displayport to HDMI adaptor:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005H3I38Q/
which version/model of the GTX 970 are you using? who is the mfg? it might be possible to do all you want with a simple adapter. I just need a bit more info about your setup.
Edit:
I did some research on the different GTX 970 models and how you described your setup. this should do what you need. You can run the HDMI directly to your TV, and use the Displayport to HDMI adapter to run to the HDMI to your monitor. Either way, it will transport both audio and video (though, if you want to guarantee audio to the TV without any issues, I'd recommend the HDMI port directly to the TV, and DisplayPort to HDMI to the monitor), and you will get your correct respective resolutions, no switch or craziness needed.
So, you mean you want Monitor 1, Monitor 2, AND the 13HD all plugged in at the same time? Doesn't the 1070 have more than 1 DisplayPort? You can probably just use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter.
Yeah, Vive needs actual HDMI to HDMI connection. Just buy this instead and use it for your projector line.
Would I need a Passive or Active Display Port to DVI Adapter? I went ahead and ordered both. From a post I submitted to /r/techsupport :
> While reading more into doing this I learned about Passive AND Active Display Ports. This is a list of what I bought off of Amazon:
>* Display Port to DVI-D Active Adapter
>I don't quite understand the difference between Passive and Active when it comes to display ports. I have my triple monitor set up that I SOMETIMES use for gaming, but mainly I just game on one monitor. Then I have my 55" across the room to stream my movies off my PC. I'm now left with a bunch of options as to what would be the optimal set up with 3 PC monitors and 1 TV. Should I use the Active DisplayPort to DVI-D Adapter to hook that up to my computer and use the HDMI input on the GPU on my TV? Or should I use the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to hook up my TV and leave the HDMI to DVI adapter hooked up to my third monitor?

I think it's a passive adapter.
Something more specific for OP

I accidentally bought a non active DP to HDMI and had the same issue you're having. Sent it back and got this one. Only asking because I made this mistake. Are you 100% sure it's an active one?
The only way I can think of to check 90Hz is to play a low quality video on DeoVR Video Player and have it display FPS. It should cap out at 90FPS if you're in 90Hz mode.
Something like this might work
Displayport to 2x displayport
Displayport to HDMI
Okay so the age old question
I have a GPU with DisplayPort, I need to connect it to a monitor that has an HDMI port. Am I fine with a non-active adapter like this?
This stuff is so confusing, sorry if this question gets thrown around a lot.
it is, searched by the ASIN. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q Many thanks.
Heres a diplayport to hdmi adaptor
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-Compatible-Computers/dp/B005H3I38Q
DisplayPort to HDMI....I've seen straight up cables like this and also adapters like this.
Is there a preferred way between these two or does it not matter?
It does
$10 is not expensive. ;) https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-DisplayPort-HDMI-Cable-Feet/dp/B015OW3M1W
I bought a few of these, I think, personally, since I have DisplayPorts but primarily use TVs, instead of computer monitors: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-Compatible-Computers/dp/B005H3I38Q
I've got 5 or 6 of these guys and they've treated me well. Keep in mind these cap at 1920x1200 at 60Hz. If your monitor is higher resolution or refresh rate you'll need an adapter that supports it.
edit: scratch these, there's a 4k model available for less now.
Sure thing. It's this laptop specifically: http://www.pcgamer.com/origin-pc-eon15-x-gaming-notebook-review/
It has 2 x DisplayPort, 1 x HDMI 1.4

If I needed an adapter to pull this off, would this work? https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1486864291&sr=1-1&keywords=displayport+to+hdmi+adapter
HDMI to the Vive, Display port -> Adapter -> Receiver?
Pretty sure its working if I ever spent lol. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-HDMI-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/. Lol The monitor I’m assuming.
I use a Cable Matters DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to a 4K 60Hz display and have had no issues.
I also have the 1070. What I'm doing is using the HDMI on the graphics card for the rift and have one of these connected to my TV.

So then just a regular adapter and not a 4k one?

Everyone else in this thread had a good point about just using an adapter or two.
You should be able to use both.
You use the graphics card Displayport out to connect to your monitor.
If your monitor does not have a Displayport input, you can get a Displayport to HDMI, or Displayport to DVI cable or adapter depending on what you need.
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-DisplayPort-HDMI-Cable-Feet/dp/B015OW3M1W

https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-DVI-Feet/dp/B004C9M7UG
Adapter is passive, before buying I did search around and some people said this worked for them:
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q
So I got the same.
Get a Displayport to HDMI adapter - https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/
It's very likely mini or micro HDMI, and for $13, you can try both.
https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F2CM057bt-HDMI-Adapter-Micro/dp/B00LPQ0PA8/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1473359924&sr=8-9&keywords=hdmi+adapter+kit
If it's almost the same size, it could be a DisplayPort:
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473360000&sr=8-2&keywords=display+port+to+hdmi
What inputs does your new monitor have? That card also has Display Port and a DVI connection, so if that monitor has either of those, you're all set. If you're stuck just using HDMI, you could get an DP > HDMI Adapter. Something like this. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1468163321&sr=1-7&keywords=displayport+to+hdmi
Linus Tech Tips did a video on a mining card with no outputs being used for gaming.
This video can be extremely helpful for you.
>even with no outputs [on the gpu], Chinese hackers made it so they can still game!
If all of the outputs on the card have failed, you may still get a working card if you follow that video and the forum post here. Best of luck!
Also I'm not confident here, are you using all the correct adapters?
DP to HDMI
DVI to HDMI
Your signal should work fine if you have the adapter hooked up and an HDMI attached to that. My old gaming setup was a card with a DVI output, and I had a VGA monitor at the time. I used a DVI to VGA adapter and gamed on that thing for years.
I bought this one and I can confirm its working perfectly fine with Samsung Odyssey:
https://www.amazon.ca/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q
http://www.amazon.com/gofanco%C2%AE-Plated-DisplayPort-Resolution-Adapter/dp/B00Y1DDNN8/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1464032275&sr=8-12&keywords=display+port+to+hdmi+adapter
http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1464032275&sr=8-3&keywords=display+port+to+hdmi+adapter
Something like these? Does it pass sound still?
Oh my mistake! You are connecting it to the occulus rift! Did the rift come with a HDMI cable? The website states the preferred output as DisplayPort to begin with!
https://www.oculus.com/rift-s/#rift-s-pc-requirements
Video Output
DisplayPortTM 1.2 / Mini DisplayPort (with adapter included in the box)
So if it comes with a DP cable, you are golden. If it came with a HDMI, you can get a HDMI to DP adapter like this one
https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-Compatible-Computers/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=hdmi+to+displayport+adapter&qid=1565743638&s=gateway&sr=8-7
I am reciving my Display Port adapter today, I purchased :
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005H3I38Q/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_1
How many channels do you need? Couldn't you just get a HDMI KVM with a DisplayPort to HDMI?
Something like This and This
ah, i was thinking this might have been too easy:
