When picking out a gift for /u/genius_waitress I saw this globe bar, which is the most interesting thing I've seen on a wishlist. I fell in love with it immediately because I'm obsessed with globes (and love alcohol) and it went straight to my wishlist! I will own it one day. I bought a set of china for like $40 from a thrift store several years before I got married. It's really pretty and I use it when we have 'fancy' dinners (we sometimes do xmas or easter or something at my house with a bunch of family - I bought a set of 'complimentary' (plain white) dishes and alternate if we have too many people). And we have our normal plates and bowls and stuff that came from Target or wherever when we moved in together that we use daily. We didn't register for any dinnerware.
